To laughter and widening eyes-
But I jumped to my feet,
Made the misstep a beat
and waltzed as the crowd cheered my rise.

drank way too much bundy and coke
danced with the beating drum
then fell hard on his bum
laughed as he said "I'm such a joke"
* bundy is short for Bundaberg rum-usually drunk with coke and is a very popular drink in Australia

The Tuesday Afternoon Toenail
The toenail lay upon the floor,
it shimmered like a gossamer boar.
Oh, keratin crescent of beige-ish hue,
I cherish you deeper than a canoe.
Your edges poke like a cactus stew,
my soul is trembling, woo-woo-woo-woo.
The clipper is missing, my courage is gone,
I will guard this toenail until the dawn.
