Age

Defeated men, seeking solace Elbows posed on time polished bar Staring numbly into empty glass Eyes gazing dumbly, sadly, humbly Reliving the unforgiving Lost time…long past

Premium Member Pooh's Hungry Tummy

"Oh, dear! There's a lion in my tumbly,"
Winnie the Pooh, said, "I'm feeling numbly"
I'll climb up the tree and get some honey.
Nothing' like sweet honey on a sonny
Day near the honeybees playing dumbly.

Distrust

When I am alone with you-

I am trapped in the cycle of being tricked and betrayed.

When I am surrounded by others-

I am trapped in the cycle of fighting back, numbly.

My only strength right now-

Is distrust.

Summer's Facade

Of windowed light, what's let in
Summer's, may you blind.
As to what eyes' truth, behind
Numbly, coldly stares.

Stay wary, through butterfly's
Flame-speedy deceit;
In the form of this conceit
Everyone, in joy, fares.

Again

Lagi Tubuhnya kaku! Sudah seminggu dirundung rindu Ingin disampaikan padanya rasa rindu dalam syahdu... Ia tak datang (lagi) rupanya Again (16/09/2011) Her deprived sense of touch, decreasing numbly One full week as a longing casualty Just wants to say ‘miss you’ sorely He doesn’t come (again) apparently

Frozen

The cold is me
The frost my bones
A frozen skeleton
Lost, alone

Wandering numbly
Beneath the still sky
Darkness enclosing
As I coldly pass by

My breath is just vapor
A smoke That you see
But I am just hoarfrost
And dead frosted leaves

I walk through the ether
A shadow you see
A ghost in the winter
Frozen and free.

Black Moon

Black moon... It is my heart...

Shards of night pierce my tearing eyes...

Her scent still looms like tiny flowers drifting in the summer wind...

Chopin plays softly from the corridor, as grief grabs my hand...

It gently touches the funeral wreaths and flowers ever so numbly...

My world is black without her...

I am but a vacancy in a dark suit...

Black moon... It is my heart...

while the stars gentle glow melts away my fears there is a sense of hope despite the worst tears the joy of each sunrise echoes through my soul soothing the last ache that the darkness stole while the breathless prayers are spoken humbly there is a shadow of despair who blows numbly remembering the day before I knew God is love blessings poured down to me from heaven above

Premium Member Winter Contemplations

Ripples of vibrant streams stagnate
Songs of flapping birds relocate
Forest rustles hibernate

Skeletal trees shake, underdressed
Mushy, scabbed apples numbly rest
Brisk, harsh breezes pierce life's chest

Pruned trees develop healing scars
Skies of pewter, stone, and smudged chars
Meet to contemplate the stars

Sorrow and indifference blend
A crocus and daylight ascend

Helpless

Instead of fighting- I can let them believe they are helping.

What really hurts is the kindness that resides beneath their frustration.

I can choose to become more distant.

So that I can escape the moment of their embrace which renders me even more powerless.

Because they are trying to convince me that we can take back control of my struggles together.

But I would rather continue this life, numbly-

Rather than wistfully.
