the hermit who sought
a rainbow body
was foiled from the start
by ego’s desire
for the novelty
which he wished to own
Novelty of its sound never obsolete
Awarded from childbirth, a clean slate
Morphed into dichotomy- pride and conceit,
Etched into identity as an innate trait
before the eyes
a crystal sphere
neon bright
new,
imaged in my glass
strange
a novelty to greet
each night,
even when unseen
the perfect rhyme
a poet's boon
Loathing the mazy, the lazy look around
To spot the shortest of all paths to be found
For the indolence that in him does redound
The lazy man with novelty does abound
To Trump Rally React
To Trump rally people did react,
As if it had been new novelty act;
Ugly they said;
Up or in bed,
And hope he won't ever come back.

While reading one of my novels up in my loft,
was easily distracted by something soft,
my kitty pawed at me,
couldn't ignore it or flee,
until after awhile the novelty finally wore off.
Sincere apologies
Diabolical policy
My part in your life
losing its novelty
Babe magnet wannabee
Recurring anomalies
Quantity first and always above quality
The new is always a novelty,
the old just a page in history.
Yet nothing is really changing,
just this tired world spinning.
Life is one monotonous grind,
a drag on this restless mind.
You and I are original creations: unique
like a novelty item for sale in a boutique
or a flawless diamond or a rare antique;
We're different in personality and physique,
in temperament, thinking and technique.
Fleet eccentric sounds ascended
Within silence they blended
Anonymous was the kiss
Tantalizing yet taunting
Delightful yet daunting
Upon bones echoes shift
A novelty ever evolving
Refrain from resolving
‘Twas your touch I missed
Behold! How it looks
as rain shakes it through.
Incorporate novelty and
harvest it before
the coming dawn .
It shall live through all spring and
wither away at winter
leaving its fossils
imprinted forever in immortality.

Without a sense of mystery
Life is without magic
Without curiosity
Life is without novelty
Without love
Life is without joy
Without uncertainty
Life is without conviction
Without forgetfulness
Life is without realization

Our demand is to accept the novelty,
we must recognize
All things in this world
has expiration date...
We must disuse matter
already worn..
let's live with this guideline,
this wisdom...
It's Better To Receive
Multiple Incredible Things
That You've Always Wanted...
Than Duplicates Of
Things You Already Have
That Are Still Incredible.
Usually.
But Should It Be?
Does Novelty Just Satisfy
Present Uncertainty?

There was truly nothing left to do in this place ?
But try and paint since joy as dreams had vanished
Her novelty slipped away ? A pendulum of vague slicing
Through time's wreckage left drifting atop florids sophist sea..
Deciphering her silkworms cocoon; spun amid a glissade of words.

I headed off
for an adventure
the journey
half the fun
no grand ambition
just a thrust
a desire
propelled
by an itch
an urge
what I found
was a brand
new world

I live in a palace of fools
Where homemade disaster rules
And children cry in there sleep
Its their nightmares that he eats
Just as innocence
Stolen far too young
A rose blooming in winter
Is sweeter than one in June
Its novelty lasts forever
Though its life ends far too soon
Nomadic memories
nurtured in mind's eye as
necrotic curtains part.
Naive sanguine beliefs
nourish scrutiny 'til
novelty rendered moot.
Nirvana was falsehood.

The Ding-a-ling
An innocent fellow named Bob
never knew joy came from a knob
till the time that his grew
when he kissed sexy Sue
and he felt his trouser snake throb!

Autumn brushes colors,
designs ember foliage,
glowing horizon invents
joyful kaleidoscopic leitmotif,
maroon novelty of panorama.
Quietude represses silent trees,
uniquely vermillion within
xyst, yearn zephyr.

Becoming blind
in lightless depth;
between the faults
we meet.
Moving the wheels.
I was the sound;-
spreading across the
unspoken epiphany.
Flirting with inevitable
doom, you crash on
the poems of –
raging green.
A tongue wants a
novelty of death,
in the arms of
the frozen light.
