Short Nappies Poems

Raging heat wave,
soaring temperatures,
body burning up.

Heavy laden,
struggling breath.
Little eyes staring out,
must keep fluids up.

Few wet nappies,
hands fight,
pushing bottle away.
Blocked runny nose,
mouth open,
gasping for air.

Droplets of liquid,
slowly fall in,
the mouth opening.
Forced to swallow,
medicine finally in.

Peace at last,
baby sleeping...

He liked sleeping in the barnyard 
with the carnivorous pigs, clucking 
halfway through the night. Emptied 
picnic basket dribbling cobalt off the 
sides, if that was what a wooden chin 
looked like then he'd seen it all.. 

Green ended nappies, white hair dye 
and rubber teeth. At the very least, a 
cavorting priest... although that was 
nothing out of the ordinary. 

Shivering at his own memories, 
the blanket now outgrown....

Sticky, grubby fingers,
Chocolate covered faces,
Dirty prints on wallpaper,
Put parents through their paces.
From smelly, messy nappies,
To angelic little smiles,
These are some of the wonders,
Of our parental trials.
There's tears and tantrums,
Fun and giggles too,
Even on the tough days,
When we get covered in poo.
Parenting isn't a hardship,
It's a treasure to behold,
So be kind to your little rascals,
You'll need them when you're old....

Yesterday my day was bad,  in fact it was really crappy
Found seagull poop on my car- why can’t they wear a nappy

I also have an issue with a local dog
Went out for a walk and stepped on a dog’ log’

I suppose I should be grateful an elephant can’t fly
Just think if it’s poop hit you in the eye

I am fed up of clearing up animal poop
I had to share my thoughts with you on poetry soup

How many pieces? They disappeared. Where have they gone? Nobody knows. Wisdom isn't in a glorified turning pin. And nonetheless many hands many ingredients long time make a pie. Strengthen not an elastic band. It is quite smiley today and dilapidated becoming's of an overgrown frog in nappies will never shine a light of a torch upon a nest of iron clad fort of torsos. thank you mum for all you've done
in watching over me,
so in respect I'll just reflect
and tell you what i mean.

 you changed my dirty nappies
picked me up when i fell down,
the days i felt depressed
made me laugh instead of frown.

you helped me with my schooling
cleaned for me and cooked,
wiped my nose and grazes
and played nurse when i was crook.

so on your day  this mothers day
i hope its full of fun,
these words i've written just for you
cause i really love you mum....
