Thoughts

Bewildered in my own thoughts searching deep inside
"North node" of my life
Or should I stick only to" South node" of life

The Great Escape

The concept of an escape is...

...to escape in my own thoughts,
...to escape from my thoughts,
...to escape; however, ONLY in my thoughts.

Trapped with Myself

i’m not lonely
i’m just so alone i feel trapped with myself
a claustrophobic in a padded room
but in all reality it’s just my own thoughts suffocating me

Cage

I can no longer, escape.
I am caged, in my mind.
A slave. To my own, thoughts.

And try as I might. I am trapped.
A songbird, that longs,
To be free
But is trapped
In a cage
Of its own
Design.

Premium Member My Perception

My world is weird
Unique, only mine
Perception perceived
Acknowledged as truth

Others enter
So cautiously
Understanding
They cannot stay

My own thoughts
Permeate
My dendrites
Connecting

The known
By one

me

Characters

who are the characters in my dreams?
I see different faces
they are me
saying things
making choices
surprising me with my own thoughts
I argue with myself
I agree with myself
in a crowd of myselfs
and when I wake
I am made whole again

Premium Member Lightning

Led by electricity,
insides jump with each heartbeat;
Getting so high I may never fall
here in my head, for my own thoughts;
Thunder screams in agony
never letting go of me;
Instantly the sky darkens
night crackling the trees,
go catch lighting in a bottle!

Love Came Back

just for a moment:

let me think my own thoughts

   dream my own dreams

   decide for myself

just for a day:

     give me some peace

     let it be about me

     let me forget

just in time:

     everything changed

     my future more clear

     love came back

Premium Member scales of all sorts

rattlesnake scales locomotive them around
scales are needed when you make a musical sound
when you weigh food, you mean a tiny numbered scale
larger one needed to measure a dog or a Yak in Vail
on the memory scale, some days I do quite well
Other days I am lost in my own thoughts, here in the dale

Drowning In the Ocean of Thoughts

Stuck in the mental muck of my own thoughts.
Lost in the maze of my mind in a daze,
Things around appearing as in a haze.
The quicksand pulling me further in with every struggle.
Eventually becoming a vassal of my own thoughts,
Paradoxical for if the thoughts are mine,
Shouldn't I really be the chief?

Darkness and a Pretty Smile

In the depth of the ocean
darkness surrounding me
my invisible enemy
lurking in the deepest part of my soul

drowning,
emotions surfacing
faced with only
my own thoughts

my pretty smile
disguising my lies
my tears,
tell a story.

I am, ok!
my favourite line,
while tears
find their way into my heart

Insanity Tugging On My Sleeve.

Drifting away on dreams
that tear at me.
Then I scream of memories
that tug at my sanity.

My own thoughts drive
me to the point of delerium.
like an addicts only friend
always saying lets get some.

forever I,ll fight these demons
to the very depths of my soul
no longer will I cave until
I gain complete control.

Broken

Starring into nothingness
Overwhelmed by confusion
Emptyness so terrifying
Thoughts wondering through the darkness
Emotions scattered everywhere
Shadows peeping for some light
I'm captured in my own thoughts
Imprisoned by ever-changing emotions
So much happening all at once
But nothing makes sense
How do I escape such darkness

Dark Clouds That Heal

on a little evening walk
lost in my own thoughts
wondering what others are upto
while I'm left behind,
crushed with my own thoughts

the sky turned dark
cool breeze begins to flow
peacocks are singing
trees are dancing
clouds are weeping

I'm completely soaked
not moving at all
dark clouds that heal
I want to drown
to come out alive

Hurt

As I am in pain, I write
Yet as I write I am relaxed
I can't think of what to say
Yet I have a million words stuck in my throat

I am choked by tears and words
Choked by my own thoughts
Yet such thoughts so greifful
Look so beautiful on paper

My words may not rhyme
Nor aline,
But I know in a teen heart
They know what I say

Comfort in pain

Premium Member Verdurous thy view

How am I so wounded by you?
Arrows never shoot, but run me through
Beautiful viper poisoning; stares straight, not a skew
I'm glad to be seen by their bite; I'll be its anti-venom, too
Covetous my own thoughts of envy; verdurous thy view
They're green and ravenous, but see me in a form so true
Eyes that sing a siren song; control my affection they do!

Changing In Forms... (The Way Influences Work)

When the naif that whispers
deep passages of unheard words
into my ears, stop.

I am once more able
to hear my own thoughts.
How they drift.

And, begin to speak,
a collision of words.
Those that vibrate the
walls of my mind.

Recalling the confusion
of free thought. I have once
more submitted my being
and am lost. That within
my own thoughts.

How too many think

Boy I hope bad things happen
So I can complain about them.
That way i wont feel empty inside
And feel like I have a purpose
And if it happens to the right group of people
Then I can complain about the other group of people
So I can feel like I belong somewhere.
And of course these are my own thoughts and I'm
Not being controlled by those with worse complexes than me

Ideas

Staring into space
Lost in my own thoughts
Things falling into place
Ideas that I have caught

I want to see everything
Dance naked in the rain
Feel the joy that life can bring
Until I go insane

Climb the tallest tree
Frolick in a field
Dive into the sea
The story it would yield

Exploring on my mind
Adventure in my heart
I'm leaving this behind
My journey I will start

Cognitive Dissonance

Torn betwixt a world I’ve known and a world I am yet to know,
the emotions rush in… intense and suffocating.
hope is lost, consequences I sow,
devoid of any sense, any kind of understanding…

I am abandoned by the life that I’ve lived,
betrayed by my own actions, by my own thoughts.
no more insights to impart, no more lessons to give,
I am, but subjugated, in this war that I’ve fought.

Haunted Midnights: Part-1

the clock pointing to midnight
the walls are coming closer and closer
i’m going mad
my biggest fears begins to rule over my mind

scared of my own thoughts
scared of voices that tells me to die
i would put my hands on ears
and close my eyes

the paper says “i’m depressed”
stuck between haunting midnights
a fight between life and death
have no clue where i shall seek shelter

Anxiety

Like poisonous gas
It fills my lungs
Water rises
As I slowly drown
In my own thoughts
Unforgiving
It will not stop

Looking up, I see a train
It does not bother to halt
It crashes through my skull
Into my thoughts

It goes by the name of ‘fear’
Soon comes ‘sadness’
Followed by ‘despair’

The sun will never rise
Relief will never come
The day forever dark
It’s only just begun
Form: Epic

I Am....

Not knowing exactly who I am.
It can take me forever to figure it out.
I am stuck in a labyrinth of my own thoughts.
I am the kid running around as if I were carefree, yet feeling the weight of the
world.
I am the girl you look at never see her true identity.
I am a hypnotizing spiral you will never understand.
I am your deepest darkest secrets no one will ever truly know.
I am that lost soul.
Form:

i’m happy somewhere

There is no cure
For what’s festering inside of me
The beast i know so well
Crawled into bed with me, and i let it happen.

I sewed my own mouth shut
And resorted to mutilating my own thoughts
They come back in the most inconvenient moments
When i brush my teeth or toss in restless sleep.

Isn’t it embarrassing?
I’m not six anymore
That version of me never existed before, and never will exist again.

"they Used My Own Ink Againt Me"

my PEN
it posioned myself
stabed by my blood words
I drunk and choked on the biter tastes
left by the rode side
by my own thoughts
of doing good deeds
come kick me
good rich neighbor
seal my children fate
fatten your great reputation
by the crimes you do to all other
the ones that
are done in back allys
let them eat cake
but were are all flowers
to put too my
baked over cheated
poorly dressed fate
