I'm sunbird of the sketched skyline,
Soaring across soft sheaths
Of ebony moonflowers,
Inhaling gossamer death, tonight.
Moonflowers blooming in the garden,
Fragrant mist bathing the night,
Cold moon fading away quietly;
Stars unite warming the sky.

Fairy blossoms
climb through my dreams
cascading over moonlight
and statuesque fountains
purple parachutes
pirouette across the
gloaming
in a twinkle
the laughter of evening
bells
and swirling petticoats
caper through the garden
till dawn
Moonflowers l a z i l y unfurl
Savoring the stunning moonlight.
A faultless nocturnal white pearl.
Moonflowers l a z i l y unfurl,
A catnip scent, fluffy moths swirl
Needful pollinate they alight.
Moonflowers l a z i l y unfurl
Savoring the stunning moonlight.

Silvered-dew moonlight.
Her eyes, sparkle in its light.
Secrets of the night.
Eyelashes flashing.
Her love moonflower, missing.
She seeks his kissing.
Silvered-dew moonlight.
Loving moonflowers, delight.
Sighing in the night.

*RHYMED SENRYUS*
Spring in my garden's gorgeous,
Tulips planted all around.
My Peonies push proudly up
Until a hard rain knocks them down.
The Summer Morning-Glories
Shoot strongly to the sky,
While Moonflowers in the starlight
Mesmerize and mystify.
The Autumn leaves the leaves ablaze
Rich in hues of rust and red.
Chrysanthemums come to climax
As they swell and spread.
But in the Winter garden
No flowers can poke through
The rigid, frigid, hardened ground
Just makes my Daisy blue.
Moonlight
Embracing close climbing Rose
A silver suitor to propose
Marriage in the moonlight.
Rose now wears his sparkling ring
Gazing, enchanted, beautiful bling –
Diamonds of moonbeams.
Stars of night – groomsmen ascendants
Primrose, Jasmine – attendants
Bouquets of moonflowers.
Invitations, the first dance,
Cake of moonpies, per chance,
Auntie Luna’s moonshine?
Evening wedding seems the plan –
Garden nuptials close at hand –
Vows caressed by moonglow.
