Mommy's Munchkins

Meli and Mak make Mommy melt.
Mak mews marking his milk mission.
Meli mimics Mommy masking many more minutes of mischief.

beaming globe of light
mews a mating call
on a bended knee
universe conspires
the ocean consents
love pervades the air

London collapses
trains, planes, and automobiles
trapped and flash-frozen emplace

Christmas lights still bright
If one ventured through the night
ghost carolers in the mews

Sublimely Subliminal

Birds cackle overhead
in the grey mews
as wind lisps around
the dead children
held in the arms of
ancient wisened trees
Whispers jump from raindrops
while my eyes flirt with imagination

A Kitten Named Panda

She's black with white spots.
She curls up on my chest when I lay down.
Mews and stretches
just to curl up again.
I love her so much...
She gives me a new sense of joy.
A new reason to continue.
My baby....

A Cat's Meow

I am unpacking each meow.

Because each of your meows was unique.

And now I am passionate about translating you.

When you were boisterous.

And now I am honoring your last mews.

When you sounded like a kitten again.

Premium Member Meeting Your Baby

you fall in love
faster than you ever did before
stunned you have lived without this creature
who mews like a baby kitten
and nuzzles your arm
you feel invincible and alive
for the first time ever
knowing you will die happy now

I call her Movie
Because she moves day and night
A shadow drama on the white wall
Winks for milk
Her world cringes into a saucer
She mews
Says me and you
We make this world for each other

Premium Member When You Teach Joyful Lessons

Baby cat with happy meows, gentle mews and splashy spots
We love your happiness for you remind us of our baby tots
When we see you, we do not think of Halloween, we think of glee.
When you decide to teach how to be joyful lessons, please think of me.

The event horizon of past melts with the extant in contrast. Scenes recalled in vivid hues meandering in mind’s mews; significance rearranged and the sequences now changed. The event horizon of past melts with the extant in contrast.

Katrin

Katrin
the cat that laughs
I mean mews all the day
and reshuffles his plan ten times
of his marriage with Mrs. Katrina Gray
but the crux of the argument
that nobody marries
'ere yearend but

Premium Member White Cat

Listen to poem:
What of this pregnant white cat?
Her dirty fur a smudge
Against the snow's clean canvas,
She mews at my door for milk.
A stranger to me, she appeared
Without express invitation.
And now, she lingers, like a cold.
This cat is an embarrassment.
Like friends whom I feed
Because I lack strength
To turn them away.

Good Is Defined With It

good in real world's sense
                                       not good of selfish design
                                        cat mews for own meat

                                               altruistic good
                                        good is defined within it
                                     Sun shines the whole world

Amusing Mews

Her muse was silent, and how
That was not surprising news
But broken by a cute meow
Her muse was amusing mews!

In this place that she is at
To speak aloud's not allowed
She rhymed about her sad cat
Making the feline feel proud!

Her poem was all her own
There's a proud cat sitting near
Two birds fell, with just one stone
That's how she rolls around here!

Tomcat Nutty Felios

lvl
                                   Eos, the philosopher from DeBrios
Caught a grouchy tomcat nutty Felios
                                       He squeezed the stupid cat
                                              In logical unrest
Got not an ounce of wisdom - he only mews
                                                   ooooo

The Music Man

He has a musical instrument
it plays in his head.

Oft it quack's like an oboe,
oft it moo's like a bassoon;
it's also a violin
dipped into darkness.

When he writes, infant angels
wail, demons bleat like lost lambs.
Orchestrations and variation
upon a common theme reiterate
and reply.
Each instrument
a different note on his piano.

Yes, he has a piano
it thumps, it drums,
sometimes it mews
like a gull riding a storm.

The Blue Hour

visions of atmosphere
scattered illuminate
faintly lid, the world is blear
the latitude of nighttime sky
flaunts itself on a silhouette pier
evening gives up to nautical dusk
sightings of air on skin are brusk
still there’s a residue
of eerie mystic hue
covering wet rocks
lighthouses through and through
deserted cityscapes
queues of sea mews
moments of magic
making the time subdue
moments of faraway
mists tinged gold and blue

The Present

Gazing out of the window, among the few willows,

Wondering mind, eyes looking yonder,

A cat mews, a cow mows,

The sheep bleat and to the present i bounce.

Exploring the wonders of the Great Reef,

The most exotic flower i was about to sniff,

When i found myself at the cliff

Wondering at the wonderful sea.

The bang of the door bringing me back to the present,

Bang! back to my current predicament

Upon the table lay the basket

And inside was a well wrapped present.
