Mom. You were my first address,
I already left that prime address

I left to find outside "rich life"
I only lived a rich life with you, mom ...

The me of this second (MOTS)
was not here yesterday, or the
yesterday’s before.

The me of tomorrow will not remember
or care a whit about this (MOTS).

Confident that I barely recall the
me of ten minutes ago, I fully approve.

The world needs to learn
the culture of peace love
as every mother practices daily
of each and every child
the mother with nobility and kindness
dedicated teacher she is always
is maternal protection
defense wall of life
in an invincible way to act tenderly
mother is love personified!

A man named Disney drew a mouse named Mickey
Now Disney's gone, but Mickey still goes strong
In cartoons and parks from Spain to New York City

Across the globe all kids can sing his song
A melody you simply can't get wrong

Though Disney only lived to sixty-five
That mouse he drew is very much alive

Manual labor, sweating, straining, backs sore
Obnoxious and stubborn behaviors, family upset
Violent screaming, threats, tears,
Irritability, tiredness, insomnia
Nasty moods and attitudes
Grumping, griping, grunting, gripping,
Disappointment, disillusionment, despair,
Anger that we left our family and our real home
Yearning to believe things will be better here

Endless sea of feelings
   Echo straight from the heart
      Endorse joy and sorrow
         Evolve as tears when sad
            Emerge as smile when glad
               Engage the five senses
                  Empower mind and soul

Delicate twinkles from fairy land glimmer across the snow
Imagine the blue white of these rhinestone sparkles
A reverent hush accompanies the virgin snow white flakes
Many will be coming today in sleighs and buggies
Outstanding sense of family loyalty and love prevails
Necessary words said by a minister or a rabbi
Diamond rings polished and perfected, ready for a wedding.

It’s a slow
part of Monday
the bone
other days discard

But for Monday
it’s what you have

Times takes
extra breaks
on Mondays

it dawdles
in the hall
takes the stairs

no sense
of urgency,
Monday

the day is arrogant
Mondays do not care
unlike Wednesday
which can be
sympathetic

Under the right
conditions

Monday
is a Nazi
and we’re
all Jews

This morning while an officer
  tickets me for speeding
My smartphone pleads and pleads with me
or at least it keeps on pinging

I cannot pick it up, of course
though it nearly drives me crazy
Pretty soon I've a bad headache
thoughts morph from clear to hazy

I admit that I am terrified
  by fear of 'missing out'
So now in the car I think 'F-O-M-O'
And make sure that I drive slow

Erratic

       Mood

              Outbursts

                      Tormenting

                                Indefinitely

                                               Ongoing

                                                         Natural

                                                                  Sentiments!

“M” is for all the material things she gave me
“O” means only she sees the real me
“T” is for tears she shed
“H” is for heartfelt words in time of need
“E” is for her emerald eyes, filled with love so indestructible;
“R” is for her remarkable perseverance when the going gets tough
Put them all together; it spells
‘MOTHER’
A job that has so much devotion, and evolvement is the hardest jobs of them all.

Its the start of things to.....
The obstacles that are being planned
The mysteries that needs to be solved
The sleepless nights that occurs occasionally

Its the starts of things to....
The opportunities that are there
The challenges that are bloated in the star
The learning that is essential

Its the start of things to....
The happiness that is in stored
The love that is given unconditionally
The growth that is meant to be

Blinking from my bedroom
Streets filled with unknown endings
The world outside screaming neon questions
Behind dirty sheets and peeling paint
Gasoline scents the air with turquoise perfume
Butterflies dance in my head from too many concussions
Sirens wail at midnight, selling news print by day
Friends pass by whispering, only ringing in my ears
    In the distance…still blinking
