days pass
as i sit here lying in the grass
Loving you
holding every memory near
knowing now how hard it is to hear
those things that were needed to say
but somehow wish for them to leave me
never to haughnt me
as though your memory has
So I watch as days pass
just lying here
wishing dreaming
that maybe one day theyll stop
passing me by
its so cold here since you left me high and dry
take these burdens off your chest cause god's given you wings to fly
dont know why im sittin here feeling so alone
guess it goes to show you just how much i've grown
leave me alone memory is what i want to say
cause if i forget you then you'll always be gone away
keep you in my memory never let you stray
so i dont forget you and you'll never go away
Form:
the other day i stumbled upon
something i'd been trying awhile,
to find but it was contingent on
my memory being more versatile
to where it was when last seen
by me or anyone else i think,
not right or left but in between,
recalled location my missing link
with much glee i picked it up and
my palm turned and rolled it around
what occurred after memory offhand
said it was nowhere to be found
