Premium Member My Angel

I beg you
stay a littler longer
you are to me
as the moon is to the night
I will never forget
my dream was to hold you
in my arms
with whispers of delight

Premium Member Africans Goliath Frog

goliath frog throws his tummy around
rainforest is where he is often found
snapping up shellfish blue
consuming littler frogs too
slurping up insects with nary a sound

Starter of World War Two, Adolf Hitler
His compassion for Jews could not have been littler.
During his Nazi speeches, he'd shout and perspire.
He likely did not realize he was a hideous liar.

Domestic Love

Love, as daily habit
Passes them by
Its daydreamers. Clear of, in clouds
The world, float. Sigh!

For what down there, and true
Housed, and true blessed
Through little helps, littler gifts
Is so confessed.

Premium Member Free to Me

Free means that someone brings it to you
With good tidings in their heart
Expecting nothing in return
And are not disappointed
When you say thank you
Offering no favors

Free means you get a free lunch
And no tip or tax is expected
You say thank you, and
Feel the world is a littler nicer than you thought yesterday

Little Siblings

Ah how I love being the eldest of the bunch at home.
The power I bestow upon the ones much littler than I.
Oh how I can manipulate the ones that were unlucky to be born after me.
I never have to get up off the couch.
Food is brought to me on a silver platter.
Always in charge when the parents of our household are out.
I hardly ever have to lift a finger.
Too bad I have an older sister (in college).

Premium Member Stipends Ruined Me

Extra pay just to do one littler thing?
It put a skip in my step that mind-blowing spring.
Stipends! Stipends! Stipends! I began to chant.
I told the principal, “Water your own fern plant.”

It got so I would not stay one second late without pay.
So, the city school really did ruin me in a big way.
Stipend is a word I wish I had never learned actually.
I was a much nicer educator, and more willing when I did things free.

Premium Member To Dig, Fertilize, Plow and Water

And so it goes down through the ages
The bigger and taller devour the littler and smaller

Monkeys, bears, fish, tigers, turtles, ants
All species find their food at hand
Only man has to dig, fertilize, plow and water the land

Why, for Heaven’s sake? Well, that’s just it
Heaven is interested in man’s entreaties
He wants man to grow closer and closer to Him
~ as well as eat His Wheaties

Chancellor Adolf Hitler
Quite dumb with girls when he was littler--
But in Nazi's prime, came sultry Eva
Messed-up like Fuhrer, she became his diva!

......................

Eva Braun was Hitler's lovely mistress for years.
Though both had eccentric, bizarre characteristics,
Eva's loyalty to Adolf till their last days made him
decide to marry her in a civil wedding.
