Englyn-Boys Toys

We fill our busy days,with this and that,
playthings of each new craze
never stopping,just to laze-
or into our hearts,to gaze.

Hammock

to laze upon the sea shore
strung between the balmy trees
one feels a part of heaven
touch the stars caress the moon

Under the Tree

I used to stay under the tree
To watch  black ants in front of me;
They keep marching on,
From twilight till dawn,
While I just laze in summer spree.

Stylish Cow

There was a young thin cow of Holland
She would love to laze around on hot sand
Eating grass was well past
She wanted to have a blast
By munching organic fruits freshly canned

Tear-Falling Stab

laze upon long stinging
persist the tear-falling stab
can't subsume a choice for yourself

It's a watching pleasure
and my breathing survival
to mark your sucking endurance

Summer Laziness

Long summer days bid everyone
To finish the work to be done
But also think of ways
To do nothing but laze
In hammocks hung far from the sun.

How the World Lies

Concocting words, like a potion,
Like a witches brew, but at times like soda-pop;
Bubbly, sweet, but inorganic, artificial
Like the lies we laze in.

That's life now, huh?
How about that.

Proverbial Monoku

Sanguine songs of summer drift on by
for foolish souls who laze away.

Let the Drama In

I, the brook of your wails
Sodden my heart
Alongside the sheets of fails
The fault of what is to start

Perhaps the drama
Is too much for such
Fragile, naive.But mama
I'll take a seat and watch

You just ought the drama
To laze
And let father
Fade

Poetry Three a How To Anew

....one breath length

                     a phrase

laze
       then gaze        awhile......

...in open style

the trick
                    be organic

let the line
                  define

                             itself

Daydream

Memory recall,
a squall where we fall
to relive moments
of heart’s sentiments.

Do we make a wish
or in pain languish?
What’s the emotion
causing commotion?

Our ambedo gaze,
choosing thus to laze,
seeks but a caress,
to heal soul’s duress.

One Spring

Each morn’s breath was the scent of bluebell sprays,
                          Buttercups lay on the field all ablaze
when on those blankets of grass I’d laze
            watching little lambs that came along to graze.
Bliss was that one spring time’s fleeting phase.

Laze

sunlight pours
through the trees -
I stand to watch
as light kaleidoscopes
through branches,
filtered through leaves

a cloudless sky
mirrors
my unfogged mind

I see -
one of those rare days
where I glide
through life’s medium,
inured to the passing of time

Spinster

The leaves dancing on the trees. The crinkling steps, the gusts, the natural silence. The unimposing mountains. Laze. Existence that validates itself. Ephemeral, cyclical, beautiful. An old distant friend that you may never truly know.

I love you because what else would I do

The 4 Seasons - TFS

Sweetly
comes spring
with rain
and sun;
nature
is so
alive

Hotter
days make
me laze.
I thrill
to feel
summer
arrive.

Autumn
brightly
adorns
trees and
cool nights
lengthen
out then.

Snow drifts
aglow;
winter
brings cold
till spring
returns
again.

All Day Long Seasons of Song

All day long on the boulevard
Fire escape I elude with attitude
Heat wave of summer's sting
A tepid breeze of spring
I sing of pastels and
Lemonade in the shade
Summer time haze and laze
Yes! Steel drum LABOR DAY PARADE
from the thick VIRGIN ISLANDS CRAZE
In my imagination

Us Two

Me and you,its just us two, on days we laze, and gaze.......You and i, we laugh and cry but agree to never say goodbye...why?...........because we know to grow we must let it show all the love of life, with no stress or strife..so we just laze, and gaze us two....after all thats how love grew.

Lamlash

We fished off the pier in carefree days
when girls wore tartan trews.
In endless summer sun we’d laze
when Tommy Steele was “Singing the Blues”.

Now it’s saffron robes and no-take zones,
maybe coffee in the cafe at the pier,
replaced by ubiquitous mobile phones,
like conversation, things just disappear.

Glide

Choice comforts craze,
Aim answer asks;
Limp loiters laze,
Mind misty mask.
Embrace each ebb,
Used urn undone;
Trouble trips trap,
Heap hurting hunt;
Ash appoints art,
Niche nurtures nigh;
Aid arcs apart,
Sign secret sighs;
Infer incline,
Ask apt align.

Laughter

Laze in a daze,
Apt voice confess;
Unlearn the maze,
Give calm address;
Hurl a new phase,
Teach a wild theme;
Expose the craze,
Rest beyond scheme.
Grip a sure sense,
Reap a bold case;
Oomph sets the tense,
Observe the pace;
Meet if you must,
See beyond trust.

Comfort

my breath took
eyes widened
exquisite is such a delicate word
but her beauty is absurd
Planets stop their turning
lips hesitate to meet
armies fall at her feet
Her eyes taste my soul
and burdens take a rest
Crooked smile better than the best
Imperfections trace her face
in search of better days
as in her light i laze

Disappearing Ink

given my heart words

the brain cannot decipher
synapses fire in desperation
fingers laze, do not will a pen to write them
keys not evident to type them

morning fog, evaporated sunlight
cling frozen to winter cold
too quick the change, notice for a moment
vanish to safekeeping, locked away

still I search for that code
