Laze

sunlight pours
through the trees -
I stand to watch
as light kaleidoscopes
through branches,
filtered through leaves

a cloudless sky
mirrors
my unfogged mind

I see -
one of those rare days
where I glide
through life’s medium,
inured to the passing of time
