Jfk
Not so easily
trapped am I as
I thought.

But I fought
for straightness
and White picked
Fences.

Until holy
Matrimony you
Came and I Fell
For it.

But let's
undo these knots
Now. And Like
Jackie Onassis
I am Marilyn

And you are
Not safe....

Freedom Isn'T Free
Don't believe the hype, freedom
isn't free
Or, why else was JESUS made a
sacrifice at Calvary
As ROSA, inadvertently challenged
the system of Montgomery
And, JFK, became a target of some
CONSPIRACY
While, PREJUDICE, took the life of Rev.
Martin Luther King
Inevitably, did Someone make a sacrifice
for You and Me...

Government Predilations

Into Covert Mind Control Hallucinations

Creating Manchurian Candidate Manifestations

Leading to JFK RFK And MLK Assassinations

Which are Explicit Abominations

To Be Enacted on God's Creations

They Have Subdued any Interest in These Situations...

Jfk Airport
Looking at you I understand
That nothing is more suitable to airports
Than great men's names

Like a flock of birds the planes
Take off and land
Like your thoughts, John Kennedy

I feel so small
Calling your name
Through the engines' roar

A sudden desire
To die young
In this world of mediocrity
Surrounding man eternally...

Just Another Day Closer
Flip flop drip drop: show us your coin
Whose image and superscription hath it ?
JFK: well, give unto he what is his but, give to
God, their moon as stars the world it's fullness for
All of truth most assuringly belongs, in Beauty's bosom
Although tis quite apparent that many here about babylon....
Serve platters garnished while filling up yes, one another's bellies....

November Twenty-Second
Forty-eight years ago
JFK died.
If you were living then,
You must have cried.

TV ran on and on –
Pink hat and shots;
Oswald and Ruby
Connecting the dots.

Bloodstains on Jackie,
The LBJ pledge;
All of America
Sitting on edge.

John John saluted,
The widow in black.
Innocence ended
And never came back.

Each twenty-second
The month of November,
Those moments flash back
And I pause to remember....

City Hawk
From the top of Penn Center
he chose his first victim
Twenty stories up
as the train rolls below

A solitary pigeon
breaks free of the pack
Its eyes focused downward
for scraps that might show

His wings ever silent
with talons extended
At over a hundred
he drops from the sky

The prey in his clutches
a nest on the spire
where eyas sit waiting
—their mouths open wide

(16th & JFK Boulevard-Philadelphia: May, 2022)...

Dallas, Texas 1963
She scrambled
from where she sat
in the back seat
climbing onto the
trunk of that
long luxurious Lincoln
not to escape an
assassin's assault
as many assumed
but to collect the shards of
skull and bits of brain
that had been blown
back onto it as a bullet
blasted a hole in his head
his body lolling over to
lie limply in her lap
as her flowers fell to
the floorboard
sure that if she were
to stuff them back in
he would live again...

The Room Where It Happened
I peeked in the room where FDR
And Churchill made a deal –
The chairs and table where they sat
Made history so real.

I stood in the room where JFK
And Eleanor did meet.
Discussions there allowed him
To successfully compete.

Lin-Manual Miranda,
In his most successful play,
Described what I experienced
In Hyde Park yesterday.

It’s special being in the room
Where history occurred
But as to what went down there,
We have only someone’s word....

Princess Diana
I remember when I heard -
The awful total shock.
It's those iconic moments
That your mind can never block.

The news clips of the wedding
And her royal obligations;
The flowers at the palace
And the grievers of all nations.

The funeral, reminding me
Of that of JFK,
Both with children, young and fragile,
Crushed beneath the public sway.

Now it's 20 years behind us
But the story will not fade,
For the life of any princess
Doesn't match how it's portrayed....

Premium Member Rights -- To Riots
Looking back on those tumultuous summers
from nineteen sixty-five through sixty-eight:
   Recalling
   Harlem and Newark
   Detroit and Chicago
   Watts and even LA--
Young folks have asked me, Could JFK have saved the day?

Here is my answer
Don't know if it's right
After all I'm an outsider, I'm white

Yet it seems to me...
LBJ's civil rights legislation
somehow, one way or another
failed miserably in its implementation
  ~ igniting 'uncivil riots' conflagrations....

Country Boy Vince
Sure 'nuff...
We get use'd 'a,
Places we was brought up in,
Seems more natural than not,
Having lived on the outskirts
Of JFK airport,
To fall asleep to the song of
Jumbo jets roaring just overhead...
Most natural to me...
Now it's the country silence
To keep me awake...
Occassional distant train whistle,
On the periphery of sound,
Geese honking choir,
Flying above ground...
Soon I'll love these sounds
that most adore....
Unless I die first...
Of a life now so a bore."...
