I'm alone tonight
awake in bed
a book on my lap
unopened
unread
this book is my life written by me though the words ive never seen
this book tells my life from others perspectives
oh how i want to open this book
but i can't
its locked.

A sojourner of life embarks on unchartered territory,
when he/she is uncertain how to feel,
The everchanging perplexities of life makes for an
emotional journey filled with strife,
stirring up suppressed feelings that have
no outlets,
Creating knots and a quagmire of negative vibes.....

The water mirrors my face in a way so serene
It makes me ask questions of what my life will mean
I stare into my eyes searching for something deep
Anything at all that will tell me what my life will be
For my life is my own; I can be anything that I dream
In the years of my youth this is sure how life did seem

In the midst of our lives we experience knotted phases,
where life happens quickly and we only remember moments
through hazy clouds,
Even through our joy and pain we try to unravel the
threads of life that remain tangled and obscure,
hoping that the clarity will lead to a brighter pathway
of revelations and resolutions.
Your life looks like a smooth river
Everything flow away
People you knew forever
And places, and smells, and colors
Suddenly you realize
That your life is just a mirror
You get back any images
What is real? What is yours?
Now you are swimming
The calm water covers your eyes
You cannot see, you cannot know
You can just imagine, you can just wonder.
Once again a life suspended
to save a grounded fledgling.
Only now the chicklet
weighs more than me, indeed
weighs more than the whole nest!
A life deferred, indeed all dreams,
with less and less time
to be fulfilled.
Now's not the time to be all
desperate.
accept the weight for now, just
one more testing.
Gently push, without damaging.
How do you save your child when
he cares less about his life than,
you do?
A life is but the blinking of the Great Creator's eye.
What we do with that short moment, is the reason we are here.
The price we pay for living is the knowledge we will die.
A life is but the blinking of the Great Creator's eye.
God gives us just the time we need, to get our wings and fly.
What happens is not always the way it would appear.
A life is but the blinking of the Great Creator's eye.
What we do with that short moment is the reason we are here.
