Seasons
of emptiness-
barren,desert dry
poetry can lie
     undisturbed
dormant on this page.
 a dead object ‘til
the cadence
         of a voice
 intones
 instils
&
 thus
    becomes alive...

Old Fool
Despite the part bout growing old,
the old fool wants what he cant hold,
the love of some pretty babe,
thought ageless, but the mind instils,

Caught in the open
trapped in maya web
nowhere we may hide
from spiralling fear
borne of our ego

The hypnotist
offers no cure
no healer too
offers solace

In stillness
calm silence
we abide

Gods love

Like dream over nightmare
A rose glides free and conquers my world, my senses

Like dream over nightmare
weeds soul from the cobwebs of sin,
song

Or some ever pertaining philosophy.
The consistency to flow,
The consistent grandeur,
The consistent magnanimous posture,
Instils in me a supreme passion,
A determinant instinct, to pursue,
And paint the world with such a beauty,
And fill it with the essence of purity,
The glory of truth and an inspirational glow....

I Want
With things I want
yet cannot have
my life is shot through.
It is the wanting and not having
which instils much of their value.
Dreams, ideals and wishes
tumble like crystal feathers;
falling, smashing, fragmenting and dissolving;
yet what they leave in their wake
is the asphalt dust of life evolving
into something licked by tongues of fire,
alive and kicking, black and blue,
these things I want
yet cannot have
mean less than nothing
if I cannot have you....
