Simple Words

completely surrounded by love that is voided
speechless by the words that others say
silent by the words of today
incomplete without the least bit of satisfaction of the truth
just ending with a priceless day because of you

What?

Speak to me your words of life
And tell me how you find...
Give and show how much you seem
To believe what lies in between us...
Between us now
All those words never seemed to say...
Let alone follow us
Work us throughout our lives...
Scream and cry to much more
Of the words that messed up who's life...
me

Thank You For Your Prayers

I do thank you for your prayers
It certainly shows you care
They have certainly touched my heart
It means so much to be apart

Your words of comfort has helped me through
Even across the miles
Your words have helped me to come back alive

Lego Words

So a poet you want to be
playing with words
like a child with lego
at his mothers knee

using the bricks to build something new
like words to express how your feeling blue
or red for a wall or if your happy instead
the wall willl be strong
and the words well read

so you can create an image for all to see
one will be solid
and seen through the eyes
the other a picture still
yet built in the mind

A Fool's Prayer

Dear God I hope that I have pleased you today,
And that my words have led no one astray.
I pray my tongue Lord, you'd take control,
For I am tired God of being a fool.
Forgive me where I've sinned in thought and in mind.
Help me to be humble, loving, and kind.
So that when I lay my head down to rest,
I can have peace knowing I've done my best.
With the knowledge I had at that point and time,
So I pray dear Lord I'll speak your words and not mine.

Words

Words can bring a miracle
To one whose life seems lost
They can warm a heart that's frozen
From life's unending frost

Words can calm the darkest fears
That takes us by surprise
They bring us peace and comfort
When a loved one near us dies

Words can reassure us
When it seems that no one cares
But words cannot begin to tell
The Love that Jesus shares

Words are more than words can say
So always choose them well
If you think before you speak
Your words will never fail
