A Fool's Prayer

Dear God I hope that I have pleased you today, And that my words have led no one astray. I pray my tongue Lord, you'd take control, For I am tired God of being a fool. Forgive me where I've sinned in thought and in mind. Help me to be humble, loving, and kind. So that when I lay my head down to rest, I can have peace knowing I've done my best. With the knowledge I had at that point and time, So I pray dear Lord I'll speak your words and not mine.
