Pausing on the way to socialism
The entrepeneur inspects a prism
  Many colors shine through
They are red, white and blue
He vows he'd rather die than see it through...

God Judges, Man Only Inspects the Fruit Written: by Tom Wright 7-13-2016 When viewing others as inferior, We’re not giving them respect. Regardless of our place in life, Or even our perceived intellect; At that moment our morality, Becomes a matter of concern; We should never judge another, Over matters we can’t discern.

Begin Again
A babys crawl picks up lint and grime
she sits and inspects her hands
picks away the mitten yarn and rubs
her hands on her legs

The wary cat just close behind
has toys to offer share
This cat is baby's mothers cat
and more than a little aware

that mother will give extra time and treats
to baby's cat
as log as wary cat remains
friends
no cat in the hat...

The Slender Loris
The slender loris loves the night
In Indian forests where
It shuns the light
And gingerly places each thin
And lanky little limb
On branches that bear
Gifts of food, especially insects
That the feather-weight loris
Inspects with enormous eyes
Wide with continual surprise
At nature’s amazing features,
Including that most mysterious
Of creatures, the elusive,
Magical loris....

The Inspector
I- Inspector T inspects the place.
N- Nook and cranny is what catches his eye.
S- Suspecting every element in this room can take time.
P- People mostly don't follow this.
E- Even his colleagues can get carried away.
C- Cases like this should be taken seriously.
T- That is why the inspector does his job.
O- Orderly, organized, and ornate is his style.
R- Rusty as it seems, it gets him to find the important clue....

Prejudicial Vote
Chicks,
Parading around in their tight jeans
In front of me
Some friendly
Some not.
Some will say outright,
What do you want?
One says,
That was brash.
I'm just here to vote, Miss.
Am I at the right station?
She inspects my voter ID.
We don't like your kind,
She says to me.
She then hands me a ballot.
Mister
Or,
Madam
President.
I cast my ballot.
I made my choice.
It's my vote.
It's my voice.
Upon leaving,
I said to the girl in tight jeans,
Bigot!...

Curiosity Creates Change
Greensleeves, hawk came for release.
During acclimatisation, fearless kitten crept
up fence by hawkstand.
Both Beings eyeballed, briefly touched ---
surprise, fright, flee.
Next day, kitten hitches a ride in my car
and gets out at dairy!
Left home!!!
