Infesting my life
No longer...

The Letter and Fetor of Infelicity
When all looks safe, chafe is at the door
Breaching your peace like never before
Its gruesomeness infesting your mind
Its fulsomeness molesting you more...

Fruit flies are buzzing all around me constantly.
Bed bugs won't allow me to get any sleep,
and cockroaches are infesting every thing that I eat.
How much longer before I lose what's left of my sanity?...

Metamorphosis of Marriage
When courtship is golden,
marriage becomes diamond.
But let it go sore,
charcoal, marriage becomes.

The once previous thing,
you handle only with gloves,
to light its fire for one reason;
to burn bedbugs infesting
mouths and ribs of the other...

Silence
The silence
How profound it can be

Silence
Pleasant in its own way

But that same silence
Can feel demonic
And dark

That black sound
Slowliy creeping
Infesting

Filling me
With sinister thoughts

That absolute impression
Of being utterly alone

That uncomparable feeling
Of solitude

A Burden
I must overcome...

Premium Member Swarming
I’m lying on the edge of a dark drifting ceiling,
Too far below, yet falling through reeling.
This bed of clouds brings comfort but teeming,
The buzzing of insects infesting the dreaming.

Bed-bound by bolas which winding by brain,
Dizzying in effort while I untie in strain.
Cries muffled by specks that trample the feigned,
Droning ‘til deaf, again silent in pain.

Toxic
Boys will be boys, should we change our approaches?
It invades our society, infesting like cockroaches.
Is it something that we unfairly blame on our coaches?
Or should we instead stop this before it encroaches?

Is it time to call time on this self-destructive trait?
Something we excuse with ‘it’s only banter mate’.
Instead, should we consider our words and our deeds?
Humility, equity, kindness, what we need to succeed.

Such As the Tree Is, Such Is the Fruit
Snaking through rocks, flowing on sand
The river sings charm and charity
Infesting the cosmos and the land
The ill-disposed breathe barbarity

Like an orchestra, man’s life may seem
Easy or hard, some keep the accord
For want of goodwill, ethos, or esteem
Playing virtue, some cannot afford

Yet faking and playing, others can fulfill
Masks of goodness they wear only to
Foist on you and me some sickly swill
If only motives, we could see through...

State of Emergency
A bad virus

has taken state

South America's infection

complicates

Antibiotics

required to kill the germs

Open heart surgery

removes infesting worms

Gang leaders

Of the wild, wild South

"Jail Minds "

Casting spells about

Corrupted elements

Rob the people blind

Not a drop of water

Miseries of every kind

Hearts be strong

Nicolas Maduro falling down

This tyrant's time is done

Venezuela's freedom has begun

Victory's won...
