Looking Up
As the drunk teacher was saying:
The hum of the computer
Was a common feature
In 5 BC one student
Was looking up:
Anachronism...

Congruity In Incongruity
There is congruity in incongruity,
Where nothing is really something,
And is behind your back,
Really your front,
Just a double negative perplexity....

borne of ignorance
an incongruity arises
causing a ripple in the void
witnessed without judgment
thus offering no anchor
for discord or rancour
staid silence smiles...

Alas, my wife, your verbose superfluity
Displays an obstinate incongruity
It's just word play hide and seek
Be succinct when you speak
Ok—you're a pompous ass in perpetuity!

Incongruity
several questions on the peace of life
come and go away far

but no answer comes to pacify this question

And this is why
I have decided

Comfortably,
Conveniently

And this is why
I have decided
To leave
It there...

Until Our Hearts Shall Meet
They say in song it shan't be long
until our hearts shall meet.
And how I pray, most ev'ry day
that God might guide my feet.

For you are fair, beyond compare,
ev'n though my eyes can't see.
You needn't start, for 'tis the heart,
that solves incongruity.

And I suppose, before we close,
and bind our lives for good,
I long to hear and staunch the fear,
for my own love is understood.

But do you, darling, know the curse?
Love, sweet love! Better ... or worse.
