Holiday Humour - Halloween

I can’t seem to find my wand,
without it this spell won’t bond!
I had it last night,
with those imps who bite.
I’ll summon help from beyond!

Premium Member Upside Down Backwards Imp

Let’s have an upside down and backwards day
Says the imp who almost got away
He causes havoc and laughs with a bray
The upside-down imp who showed up in May

Trump :Imp of Lard

After cautiously drawing another card,
Have heard that old habits do die hard;
Us likes to whip;
Give us the slip;
Trump's brain is like a lump of lard.

FEISTY

We've often been told
Better the foolish imp
That the forlorn hold
All else is but a dream

The Voice 2

I am a Father
A father of two
One an Angel,
The other an Imp (devil).

The Angel starves
And is waxed lean
But every second, the imp fattens
Feasting on my violence.

Premium Member Shaking Off a Grasshopper

Grasshopper sticks to my angry leg
I try to shake the creature off
Hangs on with abnormal force
I am irritated
I shake my pants hard
Damned grasshopper!
there goes the
pesky

An imp plied Guinness to a Banshee trick
The wraith in anger gave him chase right quick,
After her gold he did dig
The Leprechaun danced a jig
But lost her rich hoard in a Limerick.

finally out at last...
spent seven 'daze'
in the hospital...
was blacking out
collapsing in a haze...
an 'imp' proved
to be bacterial...
noticeably better now
glad to be back...

Premium Member Carlos the Cosmonaut Chimp

Carlos clever carnivore, courageous cosmonaut chimp
Tried twice to turn twisters, for he was an incredible imp.
Twisters tossed him toward Pluto, he went up in the air.
Whether he comes back or not, few of us gave a care.

Premium Member Sweet Imp

With what emotion
does she peer with wide green eyes
as her two hands cup her face?

Behind those hands with
nails painted a vivid red,
she conceals an impish grin!

The Possible Imp

Want to make the imp possible
Turning the sword to words
Breathing out because i need to breath in
severe verse not in reverse
Words often remain deceitfully silent
And hid den or for bid den
Pauses holding moments
Where nothing needs said

Imp

Scantily skipping imp,
Feet floating
Like an electrified shrimp,
Shoe sole flapping
Like an unpaid pimp,
Flamp-p-p

Listing limping imp,
Toes knotting
Like a ballerina chimp,
Shoe tongue flopping
Like a deflated blimp,
Flimp-p-p

Little Chapel On the Hill

False prophets, not saints
Hide behind crosses
Judging the whole world
But forget their sins,
Or can't remember

Every Sunday,
Seethe in glory
Backstab and lie
Never repent,

Their actions;
Are imp-like
Spirit is dark

In Hell
They might.....

Burn!

There Is No Elf But An Imp In the Simple

To all those i was unkind to
I'm sorry i was
here free kick to the genitals
Sorry didn't mean to flip the ant
Forgave everyone but
There is no elf but an imp in the simple
Feel that
that is your jaw
slightly ajar
as i take the breath
away fae you

(fae is Scottish for from)

Calls

Crow calls Ka Ka, cuckoo kuhu shouts
wives are crusty, imp; crow spouts.
calls are so many, mind blowing lover
they love everywhere day night over.
night calls hukka uncle's call
roar like gharghar nose his bell.
screams are so many it counts hundreds
all calls bowed when; mom call indeed.

Premium Member was she faerie imp or princess

her hair opened in a flowing part like a book
butterflies graced the edges, and the covers
her pale blue eyes held my imagination
dreams never looked this gorgeous
was she a faerie, an imp, a princess?
she stared into my eyes and I was astounded
I have never felt more mesmerized or intrigued

Premium Member Celtic Fey

Gremlin, imp, leprechaun and puck
Tried to push their Celtic luck
Dwarf, gnome and faerie came along
They all joined in on a joyful March song

St. Patty’s day is only a week away
They laughed and joked and skipped away
If you see the tree leaves moving in the breeze
Tell them hello for me, if you please

Premium Member Pan Plays Alone

Pan plays alone, disguised as a brownie or imp
Playing his flute, showing off for a charming nymph
The forest is silent, except for his pretty melody.
What more could happen? How much greater could we be?
This was from the nymph who almost always wanted more.
Pan played his melody forward, and his heart gave a soar.
