Outcome will affect how we feel within
Sunshining on a stormy day is spectacular
It like a smile can hide how we truly feel
Thoughts are changed when we change them
Inside our mind like a stormy day sun shines
Vulnerability may show a weakness in me
Encouraged I know it's humanness within
Just a little tenderness,
just a little love;
the heart brims with humanness,
gentle as a dove.
just a wish in every heart,
that seems out of reach

Owl reminisces her days of being a human
Looks longingly at mother holding her child close
Remembering the feeling of that warmth
Recalling the love from her children
The moon has brought back her memories
Something lost in the daytime during sleep
She takes another forever after peek through the window
Hoping to regain her humanness in her next lifetime
In the sadness of a fevering heart,
Disrobed humanness can fade away,
Revealing rich spiritual realities.
The Word of God declaring His clarity,
In the futility of human hungering.
Steadfast love & justice make music,
Releasing fountains of satisfying coolness,
Calming pleading, sating needing.
Call others into the shower of joy,
& share the witness of His care.
We were intimidated by stone man
Wondering why he was genuflecting
We reflected on it as only adults can do
Wesley walked over to touch him and say “hi”.
They had an intense conversation, this toddler and this statue.
We were stunned, realizing Wesley saw a human being
Whereas we had seen stone, not recognizing his humanness.
We all walked over then, grateful a child lead us.
As darkness fell with suddenness,
the sun slid behind the blood moon.
Sounds of nightlife emerged off tune.
You flaunted your unevenness,
emboldened by dark drunkenness.
Your twisted mind a fierce monsoon
as darkness fell.
You came with sulky sullenness
and brought your foul humor jejune.
You played the part of grisly goon
and had lost all your humanness
as darkness fell.
How was I to know it would be so beautiful.?
Hypnotic and it did hypnotize.
Exotic and pure tranquility
Such a deliciousness to the senses.
My lips yearned for this melody.
I let it glide up from the depth of my being.
It escaped my lips and instantly it began to

My humanness betrayed me. I cried out.
Transfixed by its beauty a smile lightened me.
I floated away on the LAVENDER wings of a butterfly.
Mermaid Dreams
It started in dreams
Wings giving way to tail
Your scales growing in phases
taking away more of you
We wrapped your knees and ankles with ribbons first
binding away your humanness
losing your kick
You stitched and sewed
a rainbow cocoon
losing hips, ankles, and knees
forcing you to master dolphin undulations
In dreams seamless
Rising and falling each crested wave
Breathing in your ocean

My phone changed me and my world
My phone carries my world
My phone is now my world
Our world is changing because of our phones
Our phones are making our world heartless
Our heartless world is building more phones
I looked around for help and they looked at their phones to capture a memory.
I sought for the taste of "humanness" and only an emoji was available.
I searched for the "Me" inside and found a phone dependent personality who had been changed.
what happens in front of us
is shadowed in a variety of ways
by our perceptions, and preconceived beliefs
four of us see a truck run into a car
none of us see it exactly the same
we all think we are being neutral
neutrality is a concept we do not grasp
none of us can write it up completely nonbiased
without feelings, impressions, experience, and prior knowledge
What we report is not devoid of emotions.
We think it is, but it cannot be.
We cannot eliminate our humanness.
AS I SOAR TO THE HEIGHTS IN THE AIR AND DIVE TO THE DEPTHS OF DESPAIR I FIND THERE IS A POWER WITH ME ONE WHO NEVER LEAVES ME NO MATTER WHERE I GO THE ONE WHO TAKES CARE OF THE PART THAT IS MY SOUL NO MATTER HOW DEEP I DIVE NOR HOW HIGH I SOAR THERE IS ONE WHO'S WAITING TO LEAD ME DOWN THE ROAD WHEN I FEEL I AM PUT TO THE TEST AND CAN GO NO FURTHER IN MY HUMANNESS THERE HE IS TO HOLD ME AND IN HIS ARMS I REST THANK GOD FOR GUIDING MY SOUL FOR REST AND FOR TAKING MY BROKENNESS WITH HIM TO BLESS
