Whole Giant, Half Titan

Big and tall
Big and tall
The man who never fall
Short and small
Short and small
The man who never crawl
Fierce and hulk
Fierce and hulk
The incredible one who never sprawl

War inside all of us

Drinks can be helpful,
escaping is not all bad,
but when your belly is full,
sad or mad better be glad.

Because hyde - the hulk -
and it will smash inside.

The Hulk

There was a big bloke called The Hulk
             Who was much too proud of his bulk
             He trained every day
             Til muscles gave way
             Then sorry and sore he did sulk

A Handsome Hulk Parolee

My stunning good looks and amazing personality
Are too much to take, I should try to be more dastardly
Quite difficult for me

Before being charged with assault and battery

Sunlight Drops

Sunlight drops on fields
of corn, and wheat- like embers.
Pumkins burst from vines.

Sunlight is swallowed
by a bird's wings, as it loops.
A tractor is a hulk.

Penny shaped leaves
crinkle in crisp winds. Summer
lilacs are priestly.

Blessed Golden Life

Green 
Hulk rise
From Ocean's
Deepest depth bring
The Big Apple hope
Like an ancient Phoenix
Brought life to which died by flames
As Father Time _ Poseidon watch
To see if this resurrection starts 
A whole new era__ blessed golden life

Immortal HULK...
Bruce Banner now, will not die...
What new powers he processes
when he gets madder
why now like Jason, He just can't die

Toddler Hulk

I’m thinking of a person 
Who is strong and resilient. 
Big in personality but size is small. 
When mad, they turn a green pigment. 
All is lost when anger worsens. 
Tantrums raging, escalating. 
Tired now, limbs in a sprawl. 
I’m talking about toddler phasing, 
A daily battle of exertion.

The Clef

His name is Cap red white and blue
He took the Super Soldier Serum for me and you

He was four feet tall and 98 pounds
Now when he walks, heros abound

The hulk to his right and Ironman to his left
And to the center is himself with his clef

Don't mess with Captain America, the best is yet to come!

The Hulk

I'm known as The Hulk in my community,
but you wouldn't assume that from looking at me.
For the most part I am very cordial and friendly.
I am just a little man you don't want to get angry.
Only then will one see The Hulk within me,
verbally, never violently.
I have a firm grip on anger management fortunately.

Getaway

on the road to Beverly
past Corfu, Smyrna 
a battered homestead
a rusting hulk
hot wind, dust
storming sky, raging river
how much better than backbiting and fear

contempt energizes above
a crack, the rip
bolt over the shoulder
Mother Nature's huzzah
then silence, crickets
soft wind
and the leaves sound like rain

The Thousand Ships

A THOUSAND SHIPS 


Is this the face, this old hulk in the salt marsh? 
Is this my lady with creaking timbers
 and peeling skin? 

 A mere figurehead, a turkey prow, 
missing one oar, grandiloquent, vainglorious, 
still fighting the old sea-battles
with the wind and waves

the thousand ships
 that lie at the bottom of the sea.

Fight

They tried to impeach him, tried to jail him, tried to gag him, tried to kill him.

When you’ve got the Teamsters and Elon and The Hulk and all the Trump hulkamaniacs in your corner you know you’re the man!


Let’s hope no new wars start before the great man resumes his rightful place

He Is Not In the Movies

He is not from the movies
He isn't the hulk. He isn't batman.
He is not a superman nor is he rocky.
He isn't the ninja turtles.
He is not part of the movies.
He's my hero like no other can be.
You won't see him on the big screen.
I will follow him wherever he wants me to go.
He's my dad and he's my hero.
He may like the motives but as my hero none will do.

Stigma

Frightful feelings flush his face,
damned to dance with his disgrace,
stigma stained though sight unseen,
damaged days depress, demean.

Silent secrets simmer, sulk,
hardened hairy heartless hulk,
oracle of all obscene,
decoy demons daunt his dreams.

Witless words waging war,
baleful bully, beastly bore,
cancer catches in his craw,
fury was his fatal flaw.

recliner was the dusky,
sudden pink of pale pigs.
Hair-oil halo
Scrimshaw headrest

He died in bed

My brother, Richard,
did not weep...
he hosed out the hulk
that had held 
our father's 
few possessions

My brother burned
that old recliner
in a greasy
reluctant fire

Gasoline hissing like snakes
took the place of tears

The Distracted Walking Law

Listen to poem:

No walking while distracted - that's the law
Don't leave the kerb and step under a bus
Don't oggle that hulk, nor admire that chick
Keep all eyes on the road
No rocking along to music box
No whistling or humming allowed
No eating a burger while strolling
No admiring the view or star gazing
No distracting thoughts either
Why Oh Why is it chicken now, 
   to cross the road!

The Murderous Wingspan of Crow

I run and hide from my shadow,
The murderous wingspan of crow -
Of flight, not fight.

My curdled dendrites long since spent.
Like the greening hulk, my skin rent.
So dim - the light.

I’ve shallow breaths and molten fear’d.
My former life, like a steak seared -
With poor eyesight.

I fold my hands and bend my knees
And hope for insight - what He sees.
Spur me upright!
