It hurts.
Watching the guy you want
With someone else
I wish he was mine
But it's fine.
He is her's.
Not yours
I say
It's okay..
Woman's charm
Adds the calm
To the cause
Woman's grace
Poise and pace
To applause
By default
Let's exalt
All of hers

T-rex has ears that do not ever stop
With a roar and a stomp, he gives a hop
Landing hard in front of the candy shop.
Where a champagne cork has given a pop.

She held me with her
heart she embraced me with her,
eyes she kept me my,

He's Hers when She's His.
Her feelings are pure
He stole her heart to cure,
when she moves away from him
He cleaves to reach her heart's brim.
Who knows what grows
that's because he sows,
she endures in her wars
He knows and restores.

Thread of love,
in each vibrato,
whispers.
A melancholy,
that disperse,
the colors,
of hers.
String of love,
in each octave,
played.
A monochrome,
that displayed,
the hues,
of hers.
Knot of love,
in each tempo,
echoes.
A melody,
that reels,
the feels,
of hers.

He declared his intentions; and she was surprised.
She had never thought of him as a suitor.
She tried to let him down easy, but it was hard.
He had poured out his heart.
She decided to introduce him to her cousin.
A woman who had been looking for such a commitment.
He was a terrific guy, and she wanted to help him.
Unfortunately, he did not see it that way.
In her eyes,
I can see the pain.
In her vibe,
I can feel the rage.
In her soul,
I see escape.
But, how does she wonder,
When everything is in her lane?
A step at a time,
I can mark the evidence.
A word here or there,
I let her know she's relevant.
What is it to a princess,
When she can be a QUEEN?
A woman to be protected,
I'm just trying to be her KING!
