Cemetery of Ignorance

I placed something in my grave,
before my body was ever put there
I buried all my ignorance,
and hatefulness,
in the days when I still drew air
Many have come to this cemetery,
many have come long before me
Now here we meet, as they lower me ...
we who once would never
grace each other's company...

Clearless Hate
I hate,
I don't like
What does this means?
Whom do you dislike?
Whether hatefulness
Is towards the one
Who gave you
A chance to be loved
Or towards the mother
Who taught you to love
Or towards the father
Who loved, loves
And will love you?
If the hatefulness
Is towards yourself
Who leads an aimless life?
Whom do you dislikes?
Whom do you hate?...

Hateful Words
My heart is bleeding
with words slicing through
the hatefulness
that you have withdrew

Mending the wounds
I find hard to come
a heart that was broken
that was meant for one

Do you not understand
what your words can do
breaking a spirit
you can never undo

I'm drowning in sorrow
wishing to re welcome my grace
I can only now pray for the angels
to take me away from this darkened place...

Words
Rolling tides where the dolphins chase sharks
holler rather than hark, we blew words

Cowboys round horses in dusty bowls
Their souls speak much but utter few words

Preach forgiveness, shame ungratefulness
But their hatefulness spews no true words

Swallow your pride, the tales you sung
Lies on your tongue, these hard to chew words

I've run out of plays and pantomimes;
Old metaphors and rhymes, find new words...

I do not fear the wrath of those who love me,
But fear the love of those who thrive on wrath
For some hearts are filled with bitter gall.
They seek their friends among the likeminded,
To accept their expressions of love endangers
My heart of becoming infected, even blinded,
And finding myself sliding into this deadly pall
Feeding on their hatefulness, the wrong path,
When I must take the more rewarding way I see.
