A Revered Gift of Reticence

Having heard the harping howls of a hungry herd on the prowl I realized reticence is a revered gift like the sweet love song of a swift

Playing the Harp

From strings miserably out-of-tune,
voices compose music, sung a cappella.
Writers join them prepared to oppose injustice
yet harping over the kinks in government.

The Take My Wife Please Paraprosdokian

"the take my wife please paraprosdokian"

harping
unlike
Harpo
honking

as if one
of a what
the flock
goosed

geese
i seem
to be
or not

to no
i am
knowingly
continuously

arguing
but it's
with and
within

myself

Hmm? the Grey Nightmare

Horrific hound’s horrid hair
Holding human hatred
Haggardly hawk hones hooks
Harping harlot’s whoring haze
Mean mares manes maddens mind
Marauders mane my mainstay
Mobility moored most menacing

The Madhouses of Paris

the madhouses of paris filled with retired teachers
got their point across
song of waterloo
this napoleanic labyrinth stearing
children to the brink
madame martina martini
academia nuts cracked open wide

I see a few on the cliffs of burndom
harping their humdrum at the gods of charred sea eternity
and wonder about the love they made

Dickens Had a Quickie Meal

Dickens Had A Quickie Meal
limerick

                                     Dickens had a quickie meal
And chilled out on a harp seal
                                        Dickens was burping
	                               The harp was harping
'Hey, you have not paid my hunch bill’

Autumn Fall

Gold leaf falling from the promising tree
Brisk breeze of an October fall.
The birds loud in their fallow,
With the changing season of tommorow.

The branches cling on for hope
But snap and crack in their amnesty.
The green fields now swarmed
With sienna and yellow flakes, they elope.

The wind ever changing and harping it's song,
Not timid in it's sense and spirit.
Forever swiftly evolving it's trope,
From the whisper of dusk to the darkest of dawn.

Parallel Parking

Parallel parking on a private stow
For every row there was a foreign road
Waiting for night, my thoughts roam
Straightforward, straight towards her

To...say.. find another, another home
Goodbye my lover, goodbye my love

A voicemail harping and a dial tone,
Went to your door yet no one's home
And all my beliefs lay there on your wreath,
Intertwined with stems and leaves
Fastened to a... ring

Goodbye Hanna, goodbye home
Goodbye forever, forever I'll roam

The Symhonies Within Us

Oh, docile crescendos
Spiraling out from our hearts,
I listen.
Oh, I here them all:
The wake of our dreams
Trying to pave their way
On pathless courses in life.
I listen-
To every toll harping throughtout the years.
We cannot delay and remain stationary
Where we are now.
No, we must journey away,
Pursue the symphonies within us.
Oh, docile crescendos,
Spiral out.
I listen in wait for every note
To come streaming forth;
So that in the end, all of
Our songs are one voice of the world.
