She greeny eyes gaze into mine
She gentle in the candlelight
She moving look, making her shine
She kisses me, with tender bite
She my day, full of love divine
Ever since my parrot Greeny lost his beautiful companion,
he hardly warbled and sit in his cage to mourn;
his sad song indicated how lonely he was...
what or who could cheer him up for his loss?
Amazing!
With rain
It comes down
Softly touches greeny leaves
Asks them, want some help?
Goes through roots, veins and up
Sun rises beyond the hill, looks down
sees this shiny, little gentleman,
smiling at him; hurry
Take him up
Droplets’ journey
Ends!

'Merse' poetry contest
Pinky pink and greeny green met up with a Keurig machine
Decided to build a kitchen around it, both were pretty keen.
Until Greeny green wanted green, and pinky Pink wanted pink.
Their relationship ended upside down in the sink.
Neither would budge, both wanted their way.
Maybe it’s a good thing they did not get married today.
GREENY MIX OF VITAMINS AND PROTEIN
clenching my fork —
in my garden of leafy
goodness,
a ladybug
salad sweats,
running
into the trash heap.
forgotten tines and teeth
release voluminous vitamins and protein
to sow what they reap,
bottom of bowl weeps…
but I’m okay with that!

*greeny (defined by Merriam-Webster):
of the color green; marked by a pale, sickly, nauseated color
I'm fresh, a fresh rose,
With beauty unscathed,
Covered in a skin, soft and smooth, unscarred.
If you mean harm, just let me be,
Touch me not, if you endeavour to crush me.
.
I'm green, a greeny leaf,
With youthful blood and zeal,
Of wishful dreams and daring will.
So if your plan is not to tend me, leave!
Abstain from molesting me, the fairest of leaves.
.
Don't break me, i want to grow,
Don't break me, nurture me instead.
Pearls from the sky,
Falls to the ground...
The darkest cloud
Shields the sun;
Sound of drums
Fills the place,
Moving clouds
Bumps each other
To form splashing lights...
Hardened ground
Embrace the sweetness of
Sweetest pearls from clouds..
Fragrance of soil
Fills the emptied space...
Dew drops flows
Through the greeny plants,
Silver drops fills the
Greeny meadows...
Earth receives the gift of rain
From ash cotton candy clouds...
My new tree grew green
Grew different from the one
I once had seen
How beautiful her scene is in the sun
She is the one upon whom I lean
To sit by her shady boughs, I run
She is so pure and pristine
The competition is done
She is the beauty queen
Hold on
I always come back to my reality
Hating my personality, dealing with insanity
Until I see the sun beams
Infiltrating her greeny leaves,
Beams of hope she gave me
Making me able to cope, they save me.
I wish to be with you,
within your embrace...
I could hear your heartbeat
with beautiful rhythm.
I saw you from the farthest,
Your beauty amazed me,
your aroma bewitched me...
I fear you you may be mirage.
You cared for me little,
as you don't know me,
You ignored my presence
as I am a mere shadow.
I searched for you
When you vanished,
I didn't notice that
I am banished.
Still I am rambling
in the greeny meadows,
But my heart dried
as a desert without you.
