with gadgets gone wild
and gizmos defiled

Gizmos and gadgets replaced marbles and jacks
Hopscotch and See-Saw almost lost in the past
Dinner at the table to dinner in our rooms
Holy Days to Holidays -
No time to give thanks.
No time for rest and family and friends
Relationships dying –
Lost to the commercialization of life.
Form:
In the world, two gizmos are welded.
An unreversible truth, same as a soul in a body
Love and poetry that cheers and arrays.
Raining longings with promise, not averring.
Nothing provokes poetry like passion;
Nothing replenishes him like warmth.
And a full moon is a verse for love.
