He Was Child

In a notice board

A poem pinned

When I read

That was good

He was a child

Helping a blind

Cross the road

Then fell a bread

From his hand

He kept in a side

To eat that a bird

That was my friend

He friend in need is a friend indeed

I Know Romeo I Know Juliet But

I learned Jack and Gill from my childhood,

Romeo and Juliet in my teens,

Since the first hand touched my right shoulder for friendship,

I'm digging in deep to trace,

Like Romeo and Juliet,

Like Jack and Gill,

Who was the friend in need and who was indeed?

In the pen-

"A friend in need is a friend indeed"

Faded

They say a friend in need is a friend indeed
Well when I was in need. You left me to bleed

I thought we were family. I was really naive
I thought you'll be always there. You really made me believe

We had some tough times, but I thought we were gonna make it
I never thought you'd become another friendship that just faded.

he drove full thirty miles to visit me,
to wish me on my fiftieth birthday,
to hug me once and share a pot of tea,
before he drove himself home all the way!
no wealth there is in this world you may say,
that can help you in your life to succeed,
like a true pal by your side who will stay,
for “a friend in need is a friend indeed!”
