Premium Member The Final Cut

The cut endured

By mortal blade

The blood of life

Will ever fade

No sign of light

Eternal shade

A crimson corpse

Forever laid

David Bowie

I wish you peace starry child

As you face the final cut

Resonating Black Star dust

Strumming on gods guitar

In touching distance of the gates

We're the light your soul awaits

Rest in peace

Never forgotten

Because i know you blew our mind's

And left us in uncertain times

Premium Member Meadow's Moonlight

Swaying grasses taunt the meadow
Egged on by a chilling breeze
Silently the stealth of an owl
Toys with the shimmering moonlight
As dark wings dance across her face
Grey wolves lurk amid the cold stones
A tinge of fall on the meadow
Final cut will start at daybreak
The loud smell of diesel’s warning
Alerts the meadow’s populace
The meadow’s moonlight did not lie

27

Salt in an open wound
Voices spitting wretched things
I induced his pain
And triggered mine
The voices, they haunt us
Nowhere to run
Dark
Shadowed corner
Rape
Murder
Then it repeats

The images fill my mind
And won't get out
Etched, burned in my head
Cursed to hear and see
What evil lay, hybernating

Cursed to see the day
When the bear awakes
And the blade...
Makes the final cut

Far Away and Back Again

Now is the time
To run away to a far away place
Where I never knew
Her or who She is
And the final cut will tell
It's not on me
But across her neck
She's brought me to Hell and back
I pathetically pleaded
Implored, beseeched, and begged
Now it's her turn
For her life she cries
And for her sins I'll die
I've run away
To a far away place
Where Ill never feel
And He welcomes me with open arms

Janitors

People rush and hustle,
Mopping with gloved hands, tools of steel,
Wiping away blood and sweat from the floor,
Scrubbing the metal, blades, and hooks,
Sponges damp like the weight of sacrifice.
The work ends with a final cut,
Leaving the factory restored,
But the air thick with the scent of iron,
Machines hum like the march of the willing,
Tanks rise like the flag of duty,
Until the stench of labor fades.

Bleeding Out

She's holding in her hand
The only thing she can feel
Growing so weak she can barely stand
She chooses instead to kneel
To a forgotten God she prays
This pain is more than I can bear
Have mercy; please take the rest of my days
To the mirror, she turns to stare
Into eyes more than half dead
A girl without hope
There was no one to take the pain in her stead
No one to help her cope
As she makes the final cut
The blood drips on the floor
Her eyes forever shut
As she journeys to Heaven's door

Bye

Bye

You said you’d wait for ever
But your forever means 4 days
I really need to tell myself
You’ll never change your ways

Life is to short though lou
Is what you always say
But why does it feel like
I keep reliving this day

Round and round in circles
Something has to give
This ain’t the way I planned it
Ain’t the way I wanna live

I handed you the Scissors
But you made the final cut
this was all your decision
Good bye you ing ****
