Bleeding Out

She's holding in her hand The only thing she can feel Growing so weak she can barely stand She chooses instead to kneel To a forgotten God she prays This pain is more than I can bear Have mercy; please take the rest of my days To the mirror, she turns to stare Into eyes more than half dead A girl without hope There was no one to take the pain in her stead No one to help her cope As she makes the final cut The blood drips on the floor Her eyes forever shut As she journeys to Heaven's door
