Walk the Dream, Fan the Flame
This facade that we build
around our bones;
this walking dream

Shouldn’t be any different,
than what we keep in the night,
where the stars burn as freely
as our hearts.

I say we stoke the fire,
throw it all in.

Watch the sand turn to glass,
peel the skin back
                    swallow the marrow of promise.

Let the light reflect.

Our lives could never be the same
When tasting love that knows no shame
Or self restrain; we both give in
To the strong urge that flows within
As we let go out of control
And fan the flame of burning coal
Knowing full well this is no game
Our lives could never be the same.

Adrenaline, he’s no stranger;
danger is his middle name.
Don’t fan his flame; you’ll just succumb,
get maimed in some little game.

Embarrassed to say, I had it correct, posted, edited, and goofed the first line. Don't we all do that? probably not... Fixed now. Deviously difficult to me....

Bi-Neural
Silk word play crosses in two and subtle mind games,
both entangle me; whetting my appetite for war.
Served as a weaponized aphrodisiac;
sharp double edge sword hors d'oeuvre.
Lured toward a subtle intoxication;
true motives ceremoniously exposed.
You trace the contours of my every word;
the renegade now juxtaposed.
We traverse to foreign places unaware;
time itself intensifies, yet slows.
Demons spill from lips to fan the flame of desire;
our spirits overflow....

Thief
Come to me like a third in the night, take all I have and I'll give you so much more.while you're at my door, just listen and you will hear, come on in, on baby I'm very sure.
You are my desire, you are the match that light my flame. So fan those flames and they will get higher and I'll take care of your every desire.
Just know my passion can't get much higher, it's on a simmer waiting for you to fan that flame. Let's get started so you will know just how much you are my desire....
