Tired Walk

My mind is fried, my soul is weak, Searching for strength, I can keep. Holding on with all I have, so I don't fall through the cracks. dead on my feet. I walk on.

Premium Member Ode To 'Crack'

The crack of dawn
   The crack of the bat...
A crack in the pavement
   Fall through the cracks...

Crack cocaine
   A crack fighter pilot...
A clever wisecrack
   That cracked me up...

Crack your knuckles
   Jimmy crack corn
Crack a smile
   Crack the whip...

To comprehend this little ode
You have to crack the language code

Jenny’s Outside

…This little girl…
She’s someone new,
A miracle…
Who’s heart could pierce the moon
Although I don’t know her,
I see,
Her fall through the cracks of what’s unseen
She needs someone strong,
To stand by her side…

…Instead she’s found me…
…Instead she’s found me…

…Pathetic…Little…Me…

I step back as the door closes,
And to you I say, “goodbye…”
