Let Joy Remain
Dispel the gloom,
sing of happiness,
as the joy booms,
it is not me or you,
but the world,
that is dancing,
let  the feeling remain,
and the moment extend to time forever,
before it comes,
the heavy hand of fate,
who strawberries,
the joy,
with grief ahoy!...

Respect
RESPECT
RESPECT is the gift I would extend to you if I could.
RESPECT
RESPECT is a rare commodity that is not sold in a factory
RESPECT
RESPECT cannot be attained by your vast wealth
RESPECT
RESPECT is a priceless luxury in this modern economy
RESPECT
RESPECT yourself and others.
RESPECT....

Premium Member were romance in the equation
there's someone for everyone
or so they say
beauty being in the eye of the beholder

when i look at you
i see your unpretentious smile
the amiable twinkle in your eye
the hand you extend to strangers

i hear the kind words you give us all
i feel the warmth of your touch
i see the compassion in your heart

Premium Member Treats For Kids
Before us lies a week of tricks or treats.
But I beckon you to join me in a time of treats.

Kids are presently tricked more and treated less.
In a season giving rise and unfolding evils yet untold,

May we extend to kids bags of sweets with no bitterness.
And we pray that God will hold back the curtain of darkness.

Concern For Next of Kin
You who had seen my next of kin
Dining and wining near a bin
And you forgot to raise a din
Or had minded your Gripping Gin…

It was A War you did not win,
Though Loss reports not on The Skin
Like would Incisive Pricks of Pin
Or handiwork of Wounding Tin…

Your love, please, extend to My Kin
In Water Fish that needs Your Fin:
Never mind his mischievous grin
Nor like God be counting his sin…...

Boys and Girls
In middle school, I've never intended to be interested in anyone
the girls had claws the size of a minivan
it could extend to a couple feet to hundreds of feet in seconds.
The claws had a mind of it's own, they would grapple me
to drain my body or to rip me into shreds.
Blood would be everywhere, my screams would be internal
while the girl with the claws wouldn't even notice.
I never wanted this, neither did the girl, I got used to it after a while....

Premium Member Painter of Light
Near faint mountain ridges, upon bends of bridges,

splashes of light tickle as streams below trickle.

Moonlight's expansive flow sprinkles the gazebo.

White canterbury bells absorb sheen luster swells.

Illuminations strum nature's palette spectrum.

Brushed garden's rainbow felts, like dripping oil, melts.

Cottage lights extend to the stream's reflective blend.

Luminance warms our days as fireplace logs blaze.

Premium Member Saying You Cant Is a Precursor To Saying You Wont
Saying You Can’t Is a Precursor to Saying You Won’t Written: by Tom Wright 2/7/2018 To most problems I adopt a pragmatic approach, Experience is the schoolroom where I was taught. Knowledge quickly became my first head coach, And common sense didn’t promote using cannot. If you’re one to hang your hat on being right, Saying “I can’t” ensures that you’ll always be. While correctness may extend to you brief delight, Transient emotions never make life carefree.
