Porcelain Of The Orient

Of what fascinates
In the feminine
Charmingly sweet, ere can, whose cause
Put a finger on
That serene, upstood
A gentler hand made
Exotica, cracks not o'er time
Puts in a trance one!

Enchanting garden grounds
Jasmine, flora, and avion exotica
Zeal unbounds

Budding blooms loomed
graphic epiphanous mecca
Gifts groomed

Frond blades
Palmed Areca
shades

Enchanting garden grounds
graphic epiphanous mecca
shades

Lightning Strikes Like a violent storm in a glass jar, your eyes dazzle . . . in wonderment my cheeks swell morphing into the color of a pink sunset. Original Poem: EXOTICA-SOUL Written on 7/14/2019 Arbitrium Divisa 3 Poetry Contest Sponsor: Gregory Barden Today’s Date: 7/17/2019

Love flings the mood
Where dance feels good

Mind how you play
Each card today

Be willing then
To prize due scan

Thus hatch your plot
From your sweet spot

Thought in deep feel
Can surely thrill

Come with full wit
To pleasure fit

Treasure taut take
Dance a dream make

Once you know how
Live here and now

Exotic face
Works hidden grace

The Fabrics

A steep drowning
in traffic of curves-
       of legitimate sin.

It was a supergame
of exotica. Witchcraft
       was playing with light-

years. Are you still
hosting the life ? In
cracks and crevices of pain ?

Very methodical. You were
devouring the death to
        become immortal. Were

you serious about bount-
eous harvest ? Your alma mater,
where you wrote your first poem.

Interior exploration
with its usual playlist,
all lined up
then some mass is hurled
out of nowhere and smashes
into me, and I see myself
fly off into parts, becoming
little more than traces
of exotica smeared in light
across a dark space,
living but an instant
before annihilation
and nothingness,
remembered only within
the cold walls of an equation
and by whoever was there,
looking on,
measuring my demise.
I could have been part
of something bigger
than me.
