Feeling On the Heavy Rain In Wollongong
Heavy rain! Oh, heavy rain!
Though you've exerted all your strength
None of us could be flushed into the ocean...

Roman Style
A young girl backed into my zipper
On a bus too crowded for kipper
With pressure exerted
My little thing spurted
What seemed to be from the Big Dipper!...

Trump and a Blurb
Had been hearing about a blatant blurb,
Efforts exerted so they can find an herb;
Tried and tried;
He lied and lied;
Trump's idiotic cravings it now can curb.

Transformed Smile
The hurtful smile
A life lived in denial...

Pressures exerted from the outside.
Life dealt him the hind-side...

The emotion of fear -
a peaceful, yet regretful tear...

Rolling, rumbling, glistening...
his face is resting...

The hurtful smile
relieved for a while......

Musical Dilemma
An exuberant orchestra fellow,
Over exerted the stroke on his cello,
His bow flew like a spear
Zooming into a posh lady's ear,
The recital was stopped by her bellow.

An opera scout looking on,
Heard the posh lady's bellowing song,
He signed her up to appear
So the whole world could hear,
Now she sings for an operatic throng....

Poems and Poetry
Poems and Poetry

Have celebrated
Verbs right way conjugated
My poem was splendid.

Adverbs all correct
Subject and verb both connect
Poem now has ended.

Is no better way
Keep simple so you can say
What I intended.

Effort exerted
Muscles and mind now hurted
They now are mended.

Success Story
An elegant baroque auditorium,
filled with bonafide audience,
awaiting for an eminent avant-grade maestro,
to hear his modern musical cacophony;
A fusion of ancient and modern magical tunes;
that makes the people feel pure elan and bliss
and he never makes his fans embrace ennui.
He was once an epitome of anamoly and failure's friend,
but a hardworking dilettente and was given carte blanche,
he exerted himself to prove him and now his success is a deja vu...

Hollow Man
The joy that used to lit your face,
has now been erased.
Your face now shadowed.
hollowed.
Plastered with disdain

I knew you before you knew yourself.
I got pulled in by your light,
Now i stare at this reflection before me,
dread tugs at my heart,
At the sudden realization,
You are not you any more

The exuberance you one exerted,
defeated by the harsh trials of life.
That has now twisted you into a devoid man.
Leaving me staring dumfounded.
Into a strangers eyes...

Voices
A million times I've pulled the trigger.
A million times the voices quiver,
but every time they come again.
They can't be killed, there is no end.

Is all then lost, no hope at all?
Of course there is, by means so small.
For somewhere in this empty soul
the threads of who I am control.

Shear will exerted, through the fray
the voices flee as I do and say
that which is right, denying me.
My only hope for sanity.
My only hope eternally.
Will I be them... or will I be me?

Uninvited Loss
You were out shoveling snow
Exhausted you lay down for a rest
Heart was exerted too much
You had no idea that the end was near

You were healthy and robust
Never heeded heard warnings
I hope you felt no pain
As you drew your last breath

News of your death came
Massive heart attack in your sleep
Denial and shock registered first
Anguish and sorrow followed

Unbearable pain, heart shattered
Scalding tears, immense grief
Unwelcome change, life altered forever
A daughter left without her dad...
