Premium Member The Slaughtered Lamb

An uneducated lamb is easily led astray
As a lamb that can neither read or write
Is unknowledgeable until its fateful day

YOU LIVE IN A FANTASY WORLD

YOU LIVE IN A FANTASY WORLD

You say that the sky is red
And see yourself as a fairy
Perhaps your mind is easily led
This abstract art is scary
You live in a fantasy world
The hovering dragonfly said
As reality becomes unfurled
Perhaps it is time for bed

some neurons are easily led ~ feeding on one that's sick in the head

logic fails them the signal misread ~ out of control a cancer spreads

thought consumed a mind misled ~ begins eating itself alive instead

pointed words allusively said ~ can’t resurrect what was always dead

Premium Member Lost and Easily Led

Get over it
You are lost
And you don't even know it
Don't even know what you want
Think you know what you want
You are confused
easy to be led on
I can read you like a book
so easily misguided, steered
Like a stupid lamb
Don't want to deal with you any more
Not worth my time
Good ridddance
So long
Ciao ciao
Au revoir

Answers

Together with myself,
we have searched, and searched,
trying to find answers,
and mortal worth.
Some have hearts,
that are easily read,
while others,
beg to be fed.
Cast from the comfort,
of their feather tossed bed,
drifting into the night,
followers, easily led.
If only one,
can find true light,
others will see,
the difference, of wrong, and right.

Premium Member Beau Was Not At the Mo

It is my turn on the swing the little kitty said.
She was irritated, shaking her little bitty head.
Maybe he was confused, the mother cat said.
But the female kitten was not easily led.

We tried to be fair, we did eeny meeny miney mo.
Dramatic and irritated, she gave us quite a show.
I think he should be off she said, shaking her pink bow.
It is not fair that Beau is on the swing. He was not at the mo!

Premium Member Asleep In The Meadows Of My Mind

Asleep in the meadows of my mind is a dewy summer scented with rain and flowers and a cat purring at the edge of my heart Smokey fragrances and bulky knit feels of love stacked up books and tomcat smiles creatures of habit are we by ones own choice Together we slumber at the crackle of a fire easily led into comfort we gather our dreams and feather them with a touch of hope...

The Side Effects of Bitterness

Bitterness is a pill,
Too easy to swallow,
But hard to digest,
Giving those who swallow it,
Side effects that can last a lifetime.

These include reoccurring bouts of verbal diarrhoea,
Frequent headaches from dwelling on past events,
Difficulty in forming relationships with other than fellow pill takers,
Heightened gullibility,
Low self-esteem,
Easily led to do criminal acts,
Poor overall heath,
With no chance of a letter from the queen.

Premium Member Lets Tie On An Owl

let’s tie on an owl said the buzzed professor at the bar
I did not know what he meant, but pretended I did.
there is one outside, under the moon, next to Venus star
I followed him out for I was an inebriated easily-led kid.

the owl was perched on a tree with a pencil carved limb.
he watched carefully as the professor tied a striped tie on him
will he keep it on? I asked, noticing my arms were still slim.
don’t know but we did it, so let’s celebrate said my new pal Jim.
