Smart Phone Grook

Television killed the radio.
Smart phones killing Television.
Dumbing down the nation.
Without any intervention
all will end in a mental institution!!!

unusual worker
the placid mundane run when they see her coming
berserker

off the wall weird
office great but now we’re slumming
so smeared

she’s flawed
quickly dumbing
odd

unusual worker
office great but now we're slumming
odd

Listen to poem:
Rinse and Repeat
David J Walker

Sometimes I wonder
At the surrender of senses
Navigating fences of
social media

The proud crown
Of the dumbing down
in popular conversation
A population

	More than willing to
Rinse and repeat
	Rinse and repeat

The same misinformation
Again and
	Again and
Again

Unable to discern
The position of
A lost North Star

Premium Member Why is Dancing out of Style

Why did dancing go out of style
        I don’t think it’ll be back for a while

Why did rap music become a thing
It’s like listening to week-old refried chicken wings

And when did art degenerate into indoctrination
It speaks to the dumbing down of this nation

Summing things up, I’d say ~
Our culture’s been left to hyenas and vultures

Green At Soylent

Green @ Soylent
So then the poor looked and saw,
Some tory bastards thinking,
Depression pills 4 all the dills,
Yer sex life aint fair dinkum,
Dumbing down of the savage clown,
Lobotomy oh so fearsome,
Brain dead is poor ole Fred,
What me worry, insincere-some,
Stay away from lobotomys hey,
Keep yer brain on auto pilot,
Depression bugger off today,
Deprive the green of Soylent ?

Nf's Oh Lord

My mind is elaborate as a labyrinthine
Catch myself going on about something else with no help
Just trying to simplify things with stealth
Proper wording or something else
I dont know how to stop and be like everyone else
Just used to dumbing down myself
I gotta knit pick about how things have been
Words that shouldve been
And time of
Lord only knows when
Thoughts running to fast cant even write
This lo3m turn to shyt and thats being polite

Mute

I have all these things I want to say
But yet I do not speak
I have all these thoughts inside my head
But yet my mouth still sticks

Why can't I say what's on my mind
Why can't I get it out
The more I think the less I say
The pressure's building up

I want to say just how I feel
my tongue keeps numbing out
The more I hear the less I speak
It's like I'm dumbing out

I know exactly what to say and how I want to say it
But when I open up my mouth the words just mumble out
