Damned death, does it dilly-dally,
darkening doors then squirm pass by.
Disfavor of blood dark alley,
doors impassable; man, to die.
Dressed in a shroud, clutching a scythe,
dimmed soul as it began to writhe.
Dread fills the desolate valley.

I often feel the shadow of guilt.
It visits most when walking close.
My aura is my gauge.
Its custom flavors my mood.
My swimming, my drowning, my
Thrashing disbelief.
No hint of disfavor, no eye adrift.
Their obedience reflects the Acceptance of things unearned.
And she said, "It's good to be King."
A day that segues into smooth
From bumpy at its start
Is like a prize awarded
For not crumbling apart.
The smiles are that much sweeter;
The vibes all silk and satin.
The energy as upbeat
As the best parts of Manhattan.
Without a little snag or two
To bring about disfavor,
The smoothness wouldn’t be the same
We’d write about or savor.
L-et the request be granted,
E-ntitled to get the answer;
A-llow it to be heard, for your mind to remember.
R-equest shall be approved
E-very twenty-third September;
Q-ueering the plans of disfavor,
U-sing the power of prayer.
E-arnestly learn to wait,
R-emaining calm to be settled;
Q-uit not in asking the Lord,
U-ntil the request is
E-ntitled.
Agree To Disagree

I’ve been known to rebel
when losing freedom of choice.
When my opinion is silenced
you’ve stolen my voice.
I find disfavor in obeying
another person’s commands.
A conversation is much better
when not laced with demands.
It isn’t always what you say,
that winds my clock, but how you say it.

S-how respect at every turn,
H-owever distinct or similar;
A-ll men are entitled to his opinion,
I-nflict not wound and scar.
R-espect others at every turn,
E-leventh of May Thursday;
N-ever dislike or down them, neither disfavor nor dismay.
A-llow your words to bring
R-apture, not pain or burn;
C-orrect errors in a kind manner,
A-s you show respect at every turn.
DECEIT
The scale has tipped to disfavor.
Lights are slowly being adjusted to dim.
The room becomes colder.
DECEIT
Thunder and lightning ensues,
The ground rumbles and quakes.
Lights at the end of the tunnel,
Have been removed.
DECEIT
A wall of water,
Is coming your way.
The billboard spells-castrophe.
No room to run or hide.
Time has finally run out.

Why does your religion
have to disfavor mine
To speak to its converts
and prattle Divine
Foundations this slanted
are poised for a fall
Appeasing their zealots
who follow and maul
More killed by religion
in His holy name
Than famine and pestilence
ever can claim
The tenets left foreign
to God’s true intent
Epiphanies barren
—all grace to relent

Listen to Self
Listen to inner self
right here
Believe me you will
never fear
Hasten your activity
with fervor
Relieve you really
from disfavor
Fasten your practice
with livelier
Lively life becomes
more lovelier
A face with the bitterest frown,
For long years expecting a crown;
Now in prickly sweat bathed
And A Tongue is scathed …
It’s really an awful spectacle,
Facing no challenge, no obstacle,
As reported by his mirror
Doing so without error;
Ability he’s got and Agility
And all his life no infirmity.
So, why is he, Chief Favor
Facing Monarchical Disfavor;
For long years living for a crown
And it’s public knowledge in a far-off town?
