its binging dinging
out loud beyond the clouds

When Will It Stop
Another day and wet chimes are ringing,
Whole week of rain, clouds have been bringing;
I miss our birds in the morning a-singing,
Tired of drumbeat of drops on roof dinging....

Darkness of the night extending
Countless stars far away
Bundles of worry overlapping
Waves of anxiety tangling
A wall clock dinging
The worms bustle and rustle
To join me
In a lonely and sleepless night...

Premium Member A Joyful Life
Amazing! A joyful life
          Bestowing special blessings,
                  Eschews strife,
                         Keeps xylophones
               Very quietly dinging
   In my ears.

Breakaway Stem
there is always a breakaway stem
that makes your life more colorful
the abstract art inspires you to think differently
the many different parts influences you to try different points of transit
you want to run, but the authenticity pulls you back in
via the many sudden light bulbs dinging off in your head,
now you too are a breakaway stem yearning for many a new realm...

Trick Or Treat
Luminaries lining stairs
Ghosts and goblins walk in pairs

Jack-o-lanterns flaming faces
Standing guard on all their places

Frantic feet on crunching leaves
Only on"All Hallows' Eve"

Doorbells dinging: bony witches
Offer treats from candy dishes

Spooky mansions: quite a sight
Haunted yearly, for one night

Staying out for just one more
Waiting breathless at the door

"Trick or Treat!" the end is near
See you all again next year...

Premium Member My Phone Dings For No Reason
My phone dings for no reason.
I am not playing video games.
I am not trying to speak to a friend.

I am sitting in the living room
And I hear my phone dinging in the kitchen.
I pick it up and stare at it.

There are no alerts.
No messages.
No indicators at all.

I leave it in the kitchen
And it happens again and again
No rhyme or reason to it.

The new phones
have their own personality
their own mood, and their own secretive magical ways....
