Snowflakes are hexagonal
As are honeycomb cells
Insects are 6-legged
A die cast has 6 faces
The 6 degrees of separation
Connects us all to our 6
Listen to poem:
try your luck, perchance,
around the room you glance
the sea of faces looks back askance
but, a cheeky wink invites a dance,
a budding romance 'tis happenstance
as luck would have it, purely off-chance
a die cast, a furtive darting eye-glance
rolls to snake eyes, and entwining prance
Can a question be a question if there is no answer?
The question I speak of is a beautiful girl
One who hold qualities of mine tenfold!
Her skills are divine for the words are untold
She is the question- the die, cast, and mold
of the virtue of countenance her eyes alone
could stop the room from spinning, Ay No!
The thought of the question hurts my brain
The answer to this question is surely insane
Form:
Act one had just begun
on the day we met
how was I to know the die was cast
and the stage was set
Act two what was I to do
when you stole my soul
who'd have guessed the part was mine
and I would play a leading role
Act three now you're with me
I put my heart into all I do
should I fall before curtain call
I could put my heart in you
Act four can't ask for more
I won't miss a line or cue
it's beyond my wildest dreams
a fairy tale come true
