Addiction

Your soul stained
You set fire to the rain
Hate floods your veins

It’s your diction
It’s your affliction
It’s your addiction

Don Corleone
stood alone

Sometimes bumbles
often mumbles
his diction at odds
with cotton wads

Thus I propose revision

Premium Member On Encountering Interstellar Visitors

When life from the stars comes a calling,
Be suave and genteel, not appalling.
One's first words should be:
'Would you like some tea?'
With diction correct, and no drawling.

Caressful Diction

Moonlit sandbars
Warm summer’s night
Slow swirling stars
A waltz with delight
Romance is soaring
In heavenly flight
Just words on a page
Hoping they might
Make you feel as I do
When I’m holding you tight

Oblivion Chill

Something in this autumn air
I like to call oblivion chill
beats my heart
into pulp fiction,

clasped inside my diction,

who can hear the heart
crying for its lost will
inside that unreal New York Square?
