Love Is a Shining Coin
love is a shining coin.
only one,
of high or low
denomination.
see its two sides:
what is said
and
what is done.
spin it now and call
and we’ll find out
which side
it’s landed on....

Questions Explorations and the Maturing Christian
Christianity is a process.......
Some Christians explore their faith and question their denomination
Some do vice versa
Some question and explore both....this is the process by which true maturity comes.
The only immature Christian is the one who does neither zero none....

We Live In An Interesting Time
WE LIVE IN AN INTERESTING TIME
He was Dean of the university’s
College of Creative Malfeasance,
including the Schools of Business,
Law, Information Technology, Marketing,
Theology and International Relations!
His son was more sinister
He was a minister in the
Church of Confederate Christianity,
a denomination that is pro-life
but anti-family!...

can you imagine a ten thousand dollar bill
The largest bill I have seen personally is a hundred- dollar bill
I do not like them
They are not as easy to spend as a twenty-dollar bill
Or a five- dollar bill
The largest denomination circulated was the ten-thousand-dollar bill
I would like to see a photo of one of these
But would not like to try and spend it
The stores turn up their noses at the hundred...

Prayers of Yesterday
secret flowers hidden in my chest
ever day I wake up to do my best
the prayers of yesterday still linger
on my distracted, rolling fingers
a sacral image tattooed with Grace
etched upon my heart, Christs face
no denomination here, just love
properly suiting me like a glove;
Sanctity cannot be seen but can be felt,
a deliquesce thing that comforts, melts....

Uncle Charles
A few years back the last of the old family passed away. His last wish was to be laid to rest where he was born. We took him back to a small cemetery in the mountains of east Kentucky. Found a local pastor for graveside service. I asked the pastor what denomination did he belong to. He said with a smile, no denomination, I just preach Jesus. I shook his hand and said that will be fine with Uncle Charles....

PENNY FOR Every HUNDRED DOLLAR WHAT DENOMINATION WORTH-
If I had a penny, for every hundred dollar, what denomination what I have?
10,000 pennies are in $100,
Every dollar is 100 pennies,
And 100 x 100 = 10,000.
10,000 pennies take up 213 cubic inches
And weigh 55.1 pounds.
Much more cumbersome than a crisp $100 bill
At 0.07 cubic inches money cometh…
booya!!

A Question For the Us Mint
A little question for the U.S. Mint, how do you decide which President to print?
Which Presidential portrait fits best on the money?
Why did you put President Jackson's face on the $20?
If Abraham Lincoln was our best President, why is
he only on the $5's that we've spent?
It's well known that George Washington slept everywhere,
so perhaps a lower denomination was morally fair.
A chance for a little historical reflection, please explain
this currency connection?...
