Private Grief
The tears I cried
Locked up inside
When she died
Nowhere to go.

The love I felt
Made my heart melt
Was bitterly dealt
A crushing blow.

These silent tears
Span days and years
Of inner fears
Yet nobody know.

Deatjh of Terry Cooper
Terry's Death

Terry's death was a crushing blow
One we loved and closely did know
Hear at home he had died
And his family cried and cried
Party for him we should throw.

That was what they did for Terry
today. They had a service followed
by a wake. Jim Horn...

Trump Elevetation To Popularity
Trump Elevetation to Popularity

Trump popularity is extraordinary
Draws those of low income and ordinary
And what we never know
Who next on will throw a crushing blow
Attitude between ist's and ism's does vary.

This includes all ism's except realism
and catechism. Jim Horn...

At Your Door
Went to knock on your door
saw the shades drawn
a note on the floor
said don't want to see you no more
a crushing blow
took a step back
couldn't understand why
but I could feel my heart die
so many questions
love closing on me
tears running down my eyes
falling down to one knee
wish she could see
what she's doing to me
how could she let me go free
don't tell me to move on
my life and my love is gone...

Crushing Blow
The deterioration in his face it was like
 a withered rose in winter

What she said to him felt like a shard
of metal go through his heart

The harsh words of thee
could tare down any soul
but they're people out there
who do not understand the
crushing words the put
into hand

How could people be so mean
and the hurt this poor wonderer
constantly feels

he try's not to show the
unmerciful hurt But I can
see right through it because
 I am the hurt...

Note: This is fiction, but, sadly, many first wives get dumped for younger women.

He says he loves her . . .

With senses reeling
	and edges blurred,
I'm frozen in shock, unable to pull
my heart from under the knife.

I've loved him from childhood.
My purpose, my identity,
my very self, effaced
by him, our two sons
and one daughter.

Everything I've known
sliced away in one crushing blow -
three spoken words.

He says he loves her.
