Always knew she was amazing
To dance with her I was crazing
Round in circles we would go
And on me she really did grow
Out my poems they are phasing

Gotta get away
And have time to play
Summer nights with loved ones spent star gazing
It's important to spend some time lazing

winter tree
scribble on paper
shattered glass
aging masterpiece
blood vessels
interrupted sleep
morning bed hair
porcelain crazing
drought dry earth
think quickly
fungal strands
frozen pond uh-oh
straw on floor
slept-in sheets
did I lock the door
letter from a pocket
can’t reach that itch
tickly cough
grandad’s skin
winter tree
Love comes from the heart
And that's where feelings start
It hurts that where apart
But I'll enjoy this pain
And I'll go insane
As long as
Our hearts
Take the same paths
Apart we're two halves
Together we're one
Together we're amazing
You warm my heart blazing
Together where crazing
But we're still together
And we'll stay as one
Until ours days are done
Sun refracts through window, raising sight
See her standing within my gazing sight
Dry timbers lay in a pile awaiting spark
Fire ignites heartfelt joy in blazing sight
Lying on our backs to enjoy each night
Watch evening’s moon, each phasing sight
Noises abound through warm walls of home
Children amassed at play, a crazing sight
A life that could only have been imagined
Started one day with an amazing sight
Children howl, like wolves and dogs,
Dumping rules, like dirt-dust logs;
The teacher's cane rarely works,
The principal flares cause smirks!
Workers stand, pandas-perplexed,
Cattle crazing next, stand vexed;
Students some; Angels! Correct,
Others: Devils! See them wrecked!
Principal-tiger hurried,
Like sheep, each teacher worried;
Each angst of future buried,
Students leap like light-bodied!
