cement piled up bad,
the mason was ill trained,
and was a new lad,
he knew nothing,
and could not begin anything,
came the master craftsmen,
and the bricks themselves walked to places,
cement gelled with water,
and leaped to seal,
the building shaped,
and no longer was a dream....

It's needful for handicrafts
Human beings would not
Have progress without this grass
Handcraft is cost as old art it's lost
Basket making is a way of life
As weaving is an old way of living
Help propagate the art of handcraft
Help artisans restore the beauty
Of handcraft creativity which handed
Down from our ancient to modern craftsmen....

Ears open and widening hope
Big ideas going for broke.

Bring back the wise travelers
with their wild gestures and bright eyes
Hearts scarred and penetrating scope
Stories flowing strewn with lies.

Bring back the faithful apprentice
with their youth and much to prove
Hands calloused and ascending slope
Excellent craftsmen on the move....

Its paintings and inscriptions,
Read the room,
The volume of its expressions,
Read the room,
The doors to many unspoken words,
Read the room,
The thoughts veiled in the 
minds of its craftsmen,
Read the room,
The scenes pencilled in the 
hearts of the draughtsmen,
Modern art,
Variation from the norm,
Journey into the complexities of an evolving world,
Sojourn into an overstretched empire.

Images flow from women and men

Feelings pouring from the poets heart
In black and white from miles apart

As tears ran from the poets eyes
His soul inside poured out his cries

Through many strokes from this craftsmen
The poets words flowed once again

Though only a few will understand
The words that flowed from the poets hand

His finished masterpiece came to an end
And the poet prayed he did not offend...

My loved one
she is an oasis
a rare species
lemon of the cloister grape
in  Savannah

she parades beauty
she made a proposal to God
before her creation
hips to happily embrace
eyes that cares me with joy

she is not ordinary 
she isn't the stereotype
her complexion,
a manuscript to read hymns from 
when she walks, all the world behind her

you are the beat of me
you are like holy water from paradise
flower of the firmament
wrought by divine craftsmen...

I went to a holiday fair.
Many craftsmen and shoppers were there.
All the goods on display
Were well-worth what you’d pay
If you had extra money to spare.

Yet not one little thing did I buy
And in case you were wondering why,
It’s that all of my stuff
Seems to be quite enough
So I look and walk on, with a sigh.

I would purchase a lot in my youth,
Checking out every kiosk or booth,
But that hunger is gone;
I will pass the baton
To each tourist or craft-seeing sleuth.
