I help herd the cattle to market far away.
I am riding high in the saddle each day.
I travel many miles, and then some more.
That makes me quite tired and saddle sore.
The sun bakes me until I’m red and dry.
The ordeal is enough to make a lesser man cry.
Each trip is dry, dusty, and dirty.
It’s a difficult job, but it’s my duty.
The desert wind calls me to it's vast desolation ---
There is something about it's emptiness that fills my imagination ---
The cactus are now in full and wonderful bloom ---
They look beautiful in the moon's nocturnal glow ---
In the far distance is an inviting oasis ---
Calling me to bravely journey there ---
Past the bones of those who tried before.
Executive decision
I ain't an executive and I'll tell you why
Cause I couldn't wear no suit and tie
Give me my Stetson and my cowboy shirt
My wore out blue jeans all covered in dirt
Put me in a board room
It would spell doom
I'd act real threatful
Then pull out my pistol
Then I'd cock back the hammer
And pull on the trigger
I'd scream and laugh and act real cuckoo
and let someone else clean up the poo
