Mrs. Margaret 'Molly' Corbin:
A true Revolutionary War heroine.
When her husband in battle fell dead,
Though wounded, she fired his cannon instead.
Where are you?
Where did you go?
How can I make you return?
Are you with someone new?
Of me does she know?
Or how for you I yearn?
What should I do?
What is left to grow?
Why is it no longer my turn?
Has she asked who?
Does she speak slow?
Can she not learn?
Because we are stuck like glue
We share one shadow
And your love will someday return.
