With own notion a wallflower blooms inward
conceals conviction no one perceives
until loneliness contours my mind.

With perfect obsession
I shrink-wrap
to your contours -

cocooned;
butterfly will never escape my mania.

She Loves Blue Roses

Tingling her fingertips tracing contours inflaming..
Goosebumps, rising to her touch moistened petals
Reaching for the light inside her love's, tilling palms.

Everywhere i look there are many contours. For every contour i see there is a adventure. But one i don't see clear i will fellow the contour to solve the mystery.

Early Morning Birth

Sunrise to color gives birth
Nature wakes glowing with mirth
Shadows trace contours of earth….

Flash Flood Warning

aka
Terry's Rush Hour Tube Trauma

A voice rose from a burning bush,
"O feel the contours of my tush!
Ounce for ounce
Cheeks will bounce
With just an itty-bitty push!"

''Enamored''

Springtime skies of blue.Beautiful robins in plain view. The scent of clean air, whispers of
the weeping willow.Lets me know soon the grass will grow. The warm of the sun contours my body.

Cream Against Green

Locks untangled slide freely over life giving, affirming white glow.
The indentation along the spines contours,
head moved forward, leant, exposed nape,
the very essence of, in archetype.

Rapturous Shine

The contours are mine
The incense is thine
When the petals do float
This heart never gloats
Illumined and divine
This rapturous shine
Is sure
Merciful and benign--

Oh hermit!
Know that there
is no redundancy
contours of form
enabling acoustics
to prismatically amplify
the music divine
reverberating within
the spacial heart

the flickered movement of fingers
detailing contours on canvas
a portrait advancing
 into night's unhurried strokes--
 moist cleavage gathers all tints

untamed by this artist's brush.

actions performed
in as it so appears
are merely waves
enacting divine will

notice how waves shift
changing their contours
in effect without identity
indivisible from the ocean

Closing the Circle

The end layers over the beginning
in contours of time
Blanketing the middle
in consorts of connection
Rescuing the lost from themselves
—saving the foundling’s parade

Find

with light
not as clear
as that for
some to see
shape
and movement
with night
contours
from one
idea to
the next
exploring
trying
to find
the right
path through
the woods
before the
dawn

Fall into my eyes.
Be there for me, one more time;
Not my worry lines,
Now our love, she and I.
Bring her by surprise;
Let the heavens open wide.
Please, my pleading eyes;
And groom my future bride.

Morning Smog

suffocating,
sooty smoke
swirls silent,
serpentine;

coils around,
hisses above
crude contours
of blackened
smokestacks;

strangles the air,
dims morning light,
darkens ashen fog:
toxic smog.

Anxious Pen

Crippled thoughts
herded together,
fenced in,
anxious,
desperate to
bloom and die
like dammed tears.

Perhaps I could write
if not intimidated
by contours of ink
that might
disturb the pain.

Dense skies
Whistling winds
Shivering air
Sporadic drizzles

Turkeys’ gobbles
Robins’ cheers
Black birds’ herds
Humming bird’s spectacle

Trees’ contours

Drench earth
Awareness stirs

Snaky Smog

Serpentine,

   sooty smoke floats,
      swirls slowly above
         shadowed contours
            of city smokestacks,
         darkening ashen fog,
      dimming early light,
   poisoning air:

venomous smog.

Strangled Star

Sounds of burning water lilies
Disorient the future contours,
A shivery breath fills
My cheery corner.

The blazing shadow of the sun crushes
The sphinx of my star,
And the promises dissolve
Before the strangled star.
