I Want
Famine rides my soul,
hunger contaminates
little pieces of death

love, laughter, happiness
those tastes of heaven

never satisfy
but turn oceans on my tongue
I want, therefore I am......

Listen to poem:
Seep is a leak, a loss, a waste.
Seep in a desert is a place to drink.
A seep pervades, exudes, oozes, contaminates and ruins.
Relentless and gradual, a seep in sleep
pervades, percolates and permeates....

My Demon
It
Follows me
With its cold
Breath
And terrifyingly
Graceful
Flight

It
Haunts me
Contaminates
My thoughts
Seeping
Into
My heart

My demon
Never leaves
As
It slowly
Tortures me
Into a never ending spiral
Of insanity...

Pride
Pride

Pride corrupts each mind
Flies on powerful bleak wings
To perch on weak souls
Contaminates heart
Pouring venom in eye's view
Satan's evil scheme
To kill brotherhood on earth
False egos hamper
Relations beyond repair

Alluvial prayers cast in gold

Reverence capitalized

Christianity besieged

His excellency pardons

Begging paupers of virtue

Indulgence contaminates

Seeks marble idols at church

Heaps insincerity

Onto faith and religion

Purchases circle of sins

The ram died high
On the snow covered
Mountain, when the thaw
Of spring came, it's
Decaying body

Contaminates
The melting snow
The waters flow
Brings death in grip

The farther
It traveled
The less germs

And death
Were there

Clean

(This is also a metaphor for sin. The farther we stay away from it the cleaner we stay. Of
course, we can repent but the results lingers.)...

Hustling bustling
Going home to my throne
Much trash murderous monsters lives
Living

Every
Blocks brimming with
Broken bottles vacant scenes
cast-aways haunted faces
Living

Empty
lots that besiege
The city's gutters filled
With contaminates linked schemes
City

Ghetto
Grocery stores
Apartment doors slamming
People talking while walking, smiles
Scheme dreams...
